It's not a problem they add non constructed ships with most of them existed only on papers. For example the German BB line had to be stopped at Bismarck because FDG and GK never existed, only on papers. The problem is in balance department because they add more OP ships. WOWS with only constructed ships it will be very boring because of the few ships.

@@sobolanul82 the problem is that real ships ran into real life and thus naturally had limiting factors. Paper designs dont have that and thus its on to the balancing department to know what they are doing...and they don't.

Russian ships are made from God's paper and the spread sheet says they are fine! WG are going in the same direction with Wows as they with WoT I stopped playing WoT a while back before 2 years and moved to WoWS but now I'm not having much fun anymore. Balance is off the table for a long time. Unfortunately I think that they are killing WoWS for EU and NA as they killed WoT. Even CIS back in the days didn't like the power that all soviet brings to WoT, I'm sure that they don't like it now as well...

@xellossaxon you should check against how many nations germany was fighting. Hitler made bad decisions, thats all... In the beginning of WW2 was the german army rolling over the oponents. Russia was not even prepared for this. And what happend at the french coast was at the end a big loose for the allies, if you remember that the german defense line not even was finished. Guns was missing and all the people there...

Actually the reduced freeboard only reduces the ships reserve buoyancy. Heavy waves make little difference with all hatches secured. You must be thinking of open boats like a dinghy or a small fishing boat ... or the Vasa. Ships I was on would "submarine" through heavy waves without taking on water. If anything, the lowered freeboard would produce less roll from my experience.

The same happened to me in a North Carolina. Had one front turret left. I could Cit a kremlin but could not do it to this thing.

@@carson5066 Venezia needs a nerf though its sap is way to strong, it basickly ignores angling and pens bow in ships it can't over pen so is at a point where a good venzai salvo can one shot a full hp gearing and the gearing can't even turn in since the SAP never bounces

Like the combo of super-high velocity, no drag, insane penetration, improved pen angles AND short fuse times/low thresholds... Is just too powerful! Most other ships get improved pen angles by way as compensation for them being lacking in other areas.

I'm surprised you did not mention the Kamchatka. There is also the fact that a ship by the name Petropavlovsk, Admiral Makarov's flagship, struck a mine and sank in short order. Drachinfel's video on the prior journey is quite an entertaining watch.

Petropavlovsk's ability to wreck Vermonts 1v1 probably isn't anything special compared to other cruisers. If anything she'd be kind of bad at it considering her HE DPM is low.

Stealthy Icytail Definitely not. Kremlin had its dispersion neutered and looks like German dispersion from a pre buff FDG at ranges further than 15km. This thing maintains a decent grouping at range that makes the Kremlin jealous.

Old lines are lighter-armoured and have smaller caliber guns compared to the new ones. The old line still has the dpm advantage though. But after playing the Tallin (the new t8) I can’t help but feel that the new line is just flat out better...

I have it and it is fine, and is very good at its specific role, but compared to the Moskva or the Nevsky I would put this one at the bottom of the list. Both ships are far more versatile than the Petro, as they both have really good HE (unlike the horrid stuff on the Petro), long lasting radar, AP that punishes cruisers even at range, the ability to play at range due to their dispersion/innate range (especially with Moskva Leg Mod), and Moskva is still the tankiest cruiser at Tier X other than maybe Stalingrad. Petro is really good if you know how to position, as the ship needs to get closer to fully utilize its advantages, cries if a BB angles against it, and you still need to account for your own angling as while it has the best protection of any Soviet CA broadside it isn't something like the Kremlin where you are mostly unpunishable. Petro is a fun ship but I honestly find her contemporaries within the same tech tree to be more comfortable and impactful on a match.

Compared to most ships the AA is strong, it's just that AA basically doesn't exist rn.

tallin actually has worse dispersion at long range, HE damage is bad but still u have 12 guns , AP has improved pen angle and should be the main choice most of the time

Considering the new US BB's accuracy makes German BB accuracy in wows look good, this ship would probably dumpster them HARD.
