So about 6 months ago I found out that people do recreational tree climbing!! Well I have geared up spending about 6K on everyone can get my hands on. Looks like I’ll be adding to my gear lol. It adds up fast with my Treemotion saddle about $450 and ropes $2 a foot so after 400 foot it all adds up. Then the Ascenders n Descenders from Petzl Gri Gri n Ropewrenches and others. Rope walking systems. Bags to carry everything and safety equipment!!! I absolutely love climbing and at 52 I do pretty damn good. I have some rock gear however I never tried yet. mine destroyed my fresh new rope when i was practicing normal and easy crevasse rescue. almost cut my rope in 2.... i will stick to prussik
