Good videos John. Thank you. Question: I have the same escooter. The front brake lever isn't pushing in that little button when released. Seems there is a piston that's supposed to do this. Suggestions?
I shimmed mine up with a little bit of tape. Then if it started lunging as if braking I just pushed lever outwards into proper position. I think it's just a spring return system that has lost some of its tension. Good luck!
Not sure-mine is the model with the more expensive battery and it is rated for more than 3000 charges. How old is your scooter and how many times has it been charged and is it the cheaper battery or the better kind? All of these factors will determine if the battery is at the end of its life cycle. I wonder if maybe the nearest auto parts store could test it?
Hey John! Ive tried resetting the speed control a few times however i still can seem to get the motor to do more than one speed. Any thoughts? Is it likely to be a motor issue?
You can try re-setting the transmission controller. With key on Engage brake, twist throttle to wide open, then hold down button that changes speed. The light should stop blinking after a short delay and transmission will be re-set. Good luck! P.S. there was a video on youtube that showed me how to do this- take a look for that if this doesn't work.
Hello I have the same scooter or similar and it says it’s charged and when I take it for a ride is acts ass if the battery is dead slowly tries to go but barley moves slowly like jilting 😢
Sorry but I'm not sure what the problem could be-maybe the voltage controller is bad ( Higher probability) or the motor itself has gone bad (lower probability).
I am having issues with mine it’s not this it’s a power issue. When I plug in the charger it seems to flash on the charger I’m not sure what’s wrong with it it flashes green and the scooter won’t turn on
I would check all my connections that I could get at-especially the main one to the battery itself. Unplug the junction connectors and make sure they haven't corroded. Good luck- one thing that I've found out from having three different electric scooters over the last couple of decades is that any problems are usually due to a faulty connection or a failed part that is usually fairly simple to swap out if you can identify the right part.
