Perfect performance! Close your eyes and listen to his voice. No difference. Remember this is live, and singers vary their tempos all the time. His voice is the SAME strength as it always was!!!
Come on be honest, he's not half the singer he used to be. That's the truth. But there's absolutely nothing wrong with that, It's just life. He's gotten old and he didn't take good care of himself either. He had a good run. This is indeed a very difficult song to sing, but in the old days... One more thing, when he retired some years ago I really thought it was a bad idea, but seeing him like this now (and this video is back from 2017 I wish he never came back.
His voice is great considering his age and all the physical maladies he's been through. Of course he's not going to sound like he did almost 40 years ago at Perkins Palace. I'm delighted he came back, even if he isn't mobile.
still got the heart and soul and voice..will always appreciate him performing ..love it. sounds better now than most of these so-called younger artists now
Phil Collins Is The Best No Matter What People Say About Him I'll Defend His Music Cause Phil Collins Is A Legend , And Whoever Hate Phil Collins It Means He/She Hate Music , Cause This Is Real Music Not This Modern Shitty Music.
I'm fairly certain they played it slow earlier to let Phil keep up. He was still getting into the rhythm of things again. You have to remember, it had been a little less than a decade since he had last done a major tour.
Honesy he can still belt out the notes at that age, i know he cant play drums now, thats understandable but its great hes still going out there and doing what he loves
It's a shame seeing him like this. Even though he still can sing, he's not half the singer he used to be and it's perfectly ok. That's not the issue. He had a good run. But seems to me he is not enjoying himself up there. A few years back, when he announced he was retiring I remember thinking "why?", but now I wish he never came back.
