I'm glad he said something about ring chasing. It's a bad narrative, people who played sports know that no matter how many stars you got. They still have to win, the chemistry has to be right and the role players have to fit. Brooklyn right now is a prime example.

It's wild that there is a negative connotation when it comes to ring chasing. Guys practically can't win if that's the case. When they don't win, we criticize them and say they didn't prioritize winning. If they do, we say they ring chased, it makes zero sense.

This man is legit, I hope someone gives him legit head coaching interview, and allows him to explain what he would run, how we would approach certain situations on and off the court, and his plan to make 1 thru 15 buy in as a whole. Even if it's not a HC gig, he should go for HC of a team who has a legit D League squad, or a team that will give him the top AC job where the entire league knows he's being groomed for future HC. I would be cautious of straight hiring a dude from his spot to HC, and the college basketball HC route is a LOT tougher than dleague HC or top AC to actual NBA HC.
