Hey Doug. Just wanted to tell you how much better Daniels videos are than yours. I just saw him analyse a hand where he called pre, flopped middle set on K83cc board, raised flop and was shoved on. Much respect for you and all but why can't you analyse difficult hands like this. I mean, as he said, you have to consider folding there right. Hopefully you will watch more of his stuff and try to get some helpful hints from him. I represent the Rake lovers of America SuperPac and I approve this message.

You should do a Poker Hands on your 25K hand check shoving your 88 on a 695 board vs the opponent who 3 bet the UTG raise and UTG2 caller... then c bet the flop and snapped you off to the rail with AA. Should title it "Pidgeon Pro overvalues 88 and thinks it's standard?!?!" ;)

this shove happened after seeing the flop then it is not overrated but you got plently of equity but you should chase the hand till the river is the best play as there are plenty of scenario in this hand like you are blocking the path of straight as you got 88 that makes it go ahead I guess.
Ever since Sammartino slow rolled Schemion with Jacks full which was the third nuts at the ept, I've been anti sweating him a lot. He's a professional and yet he was scared to call with Jack's full vs a hyper aggressive world class opponent.
Interestingly a pretty good spot for an angle when throwing the time bank chip in. Pretty crazy how good it could work if sold correctly, as the amount of times you see people calling all ins with a single chip. Thoughts?
This is why I don't want to check call the river on that kind of a board against ultra aggressive players like Ivey, Dwan etc. The problem is they don't value bet their boats. They shove. They play their boats and the missed draws the same way. I would represent a nut flush or a smaller boat with 33 or 88 and bet out the river and fold if he comes on top. By we betting out, we don't give away that we have a small flush or a straight. We check against these aggressive players only when we clearly put them on bluffs or when we have a hand that beats them. By checking with a weak hand we then think that because they know we are weak they are bluffing and make that hero call. It is worth it in a cash game but not in a big tournament that too in a 100K buyin where it's 50 50 and we are hoping that he is bluffing.

Yep ... check to correct English out of position and re-raise on 4th street to a new dictionary .... It's a monochrome flop not a monotone flop... One could argue for a "monosuit" flop but I have no equity either way on the river so it's probably time to check fold and return to my 2nd bottle of Chivas Rgeal that I left on my boat which the bank owns in full
