@@ZachZoschke The Hive Winery and Distillery in Layton Utah. I hope they didn't go out of business when I wasn't looking. Last time I was there they had a bunch of stuff.
This is 100% intriguing; especially the combination of spirits. Recently started utilizing water or club soda in new recipes and can appreciate the extension it provides while not compromising the overall flavor profile. Nice work!
Kuchan's been extinct for years, how long have you had that bottle? I have a bottle of the barrel aged I've had for at least 8, and I'll be sad when the little bit sloshing around inside is gone.
A long time. I've been saving it to make this video. I think I have about 2oz left. At least I know that the apple brandy-peach liqueur combo is an OK substitute.
Just seeing the bottle kind of hurts honestly. Every so often I check if it's back in production. Nope, and nothing on the market to take its place. I made a big bowl of this which used up about half the bottle. Good times, but I also kind of regret it now that it's nearly gone. I started a video series of punches from the book, check it out if you like. Thanks for the vid and cheers!
I hear ya. Now that I've filmed this, I'll probably just finish the bottle off by drinking it neat. Lots of subtle flavor to the peach brandy compared to peach liqueur. Nice vids. I'll be watching them as you're funnier than I am.
The Hive Winery makes peach brandy in Utah. It's pretty good. I don't know if it's available in other states. If you happen to be passing by SLC, check it out.
