Goodness me, just seen this on RU-vid after all these years. What a fabulous day it was for the band, they were on top form throughout that decade. So privileged and truly proud to have been part of it all. Wonderful memories indeed and an real honour to be part of that wonderful team of players. Happy days 😊

Btw after 15 years of playing for maestro Howard Snell, for me simply the finest musician I have ever had the privilege to work with, this was the only time I saw a tear in his eye in a performance.

I was playing with a band in the Euro's that year and I remember sitting in the audience listening to this thinking 'I've never heard anything like this'. The last movement separates the boys from the men and I've never heard it played as well since.
