In this episode as the guys are back doing more work on the house Melinda is using the empty streets of the subdivision for some practice drive time.
In the kitchen inside stone work is being done to the bar front. Melinda cooks up a fresh fish soup with moringa leaves in it. Upon top the crew is forming the final wall to ever to be pouring on this house up at the eagle's nest. This wall will support and give a place to terminate the middle section of the roof in the house. It will also provide strength to the roof in the events of typhoons which will come for sure.
We end our day early to go into the city of Iloilo where we planned a gathering of friends at Muelle Deli and Restaurant along the Iloilo River. This was for a sending off gathering of our friends Jerry and Rochie as they return to Saudi Arabia for his work. At 77 years old and has still never retired.
We always hope to see him settle and enjoy some time off but maybe he really enjoys just what he is doing. I can respect that.
We are a Fil Am couple sharing our lives between living in Texas USA and Iloilo City on Panay Island Philippines. We share dealing with two different cultures, building our solid concrete cast in place home beach side and exploring/ seeking new things. We hope you enjoy and join to be part of a bigger family here on this channel.
Thank you for being apart of our channel and lives.
