This is one of my top favorite philodendrons even between my rare philodendrons this is very nice one, i love the growth pattern which instead of one shoot per node it can grow multiple growthpoints on one node, the leaves are enlogated and medium size and it's such a statement piece.

Philodendron Burle Marx is very easy to reproduce and care for it is not as difficult as other types of philodendrone, at home I also take care of this tree because in my country many are selling and the price is still cheap compared to other Philodendrone. Greetings, healthy, always keep up the spirit ...

Hmm, that's interesting because mine were growing weird so I cut off a stem to propagate it and I put it in water and now, 2 weeks later, it grew crazy roots and I need to finally pot it.

I am definitely interested in seeing how you fertilize this plant in the lecca. Mine do seem to be doing better as far as starting to develop roots now but part of the stems are looking pale (chlorinated??). Please help if you happen to read this.. :)

Hi Daniel! awesome video.I could use some expert advice! somehow my burle Marx broke off the stem :0 Now have this huge budding plant with no root system except the aerial roots! I would love some advice as to if you think I should just stick the whole thing in water or try leca for the first time, or to divide it into a few sections or even a lot of sections like at each of the nodes/aerial root areas and propagate that way? Im so confused and i'm so scared to lose my absolute favorite plant!

What type of philodendron is on your right hand side (not the monstera)? Is it the tree philodendron or Xanadu maybe?

I actually searched high and low on the internet after info on the Burle Max and came across this video and bonus info: you are also into Leca!!😍😍 My luck, I started my Leca journey around 3 months ago. I would love to know if you have your plant in a closed pot with a reservoir in the pot itself? And yes I would love to see a video on the fertilizer series cause I actually use the excact same😃😃 But am a little unsure if how much to use... Are you on Instagram? Please find me under my name if you are interested in a new “plant friend”💚

Hi Daniel. I've been desperate for some info and came across this video. After watching such useful content, I hit that subscribe button on the spot (and no pun intended, given the subject of the rest of my huge comment here!). So, as a new subscriber, right off the bat, I have a very long winded question for you. Several weeks ago, I bought two large unrooted Burle Marx cuttings from Etsy. The leaves yellowed a lot and began to die off while in water propagation so I contacted the shop owner and was sent two more cuttings which behaved exactly in the same way. I was distraught until I discovered Liquid-Dirt which I added in a small quantity to the water my cuttings were rooting in and it worked like magic! The leaves returned to that lovely spring green and all four cuttings began to sprout new leaves and all kinds of roots all over the place! So, a happy ending right? Well, not quite. Now, as I am finally getting ready to pot up my babies, I've been thrown into a full blown panic! All of a sudden some of my Burle Marx leaves have brown or browney-beige spots and a lot of the stems have flat brown spots all up and down and all over. Even the coverings of the new leaves coming in are spotted brown. I have recently found scale on an Aglaonema plant of mine that lived near where my Burle Marx cuttings have been rooting and living and so the first thing I thought was, oh no, it's gotta be scale. But the brown spots on the Burle Marx cuttings are not at all bumpy and don't seem to come off with alcohol or an insecticidal soap mixture as is normal with scale. Also, other than this new spotting, my cuttings are behaving just as they did before it - with new growth / new leaves coming in steadily and none of the old leaves yellowing or falling off or anything. All very confounding! Anyway, to end this long long tale of my Burle Marx woes, I did notice in your video above, especially in some of your closeups, that one or two of your leaves and one or two of your stems have the same exact same brown spotting I am talking about! So would you have any idea what this spotting is? Is it scale? Or some other problem I should actively treat? Thanks so much for your patience, Daniel. I'd truly appreciate any advice or comments you might have for me. Finally - and btw - your plants, the Burle Marx, as well as the ones in the background of this video - look absolutely gorgeous - and I would love to see more of your videos and content -
