This was my first Phish show. My husband is a fan and has seen Phish all over the country. I'm not into jam bands. I've tried JRAD and String Cheese shows.... not a fan of them... but this show in Orange Beach was the best musical experience of my 51 years of life. It was incredible! And I only like the shade when you're blocking the light is the best lyric ever
I'm glad you enjoyed it! I took my wife to her first show back in 2018, and she immediately fell in love with the band, after having not typically enjoyed jam bands. We had our first dance at our wedding last year to Shade!!!
Not enough people talking about this!!!!! I’ve always kidded around about the quadrophonic bust out but seeing them actually do it in person at the end of a phat ass soul planet!!! Quite possibly the best experiences of my life!!
It doesn’t make sense why people still want to shit on Soul Planet. Ever since it debuted I thought it had a great groove and a great jam section. Let the band play what they want to play!!
lol its not like people are sending them death threats over it or physically preventing them...they can play whatever they want. And its perfectly within our rights to not like something theyre playing. Also, not liking a song doesnt mean we dont enjoy the jams
A bit of the allman's atmosphere into a vague yem , yes full "concur"ment: only 15 minutes into this floydian space; it is quite an auspicious genesis.
Yea, this was a QT tease. I love all of these comments saying "They finally played it again!" or "Second time ever" when the facts are, this was just a tease. Trey isn't high enough to pull off playing it again
