Not really. The VA was just right in the previous trailer, Maya's voice is mediocre, and Rayfa's "That's Enough!" sounds very weak in this trailer.

The voice acting isn't even bad, really. Not the best, but awful? I mean, it's not on the level of old 90's PS1 games.

+Dollarluigi I don't see how it's so awful. Yes, I'll admit that I don't care much for Athena's voice, but otherwise it's ok. For me bad voice acting is a much lower standard, like I said in my previous comment. In general fans are just about never satisfied with English voice acting in their games anyway, and I'm not so sure why.

And nowhere near as good sound quality compared to the new one. And keep in mind, there's cutscenes now. The guy who voices Phoenix also has to dub him during those cutscenes and be able to act. The original Capcom employee said it took him over a dozen tries to get that one line of "Objection!".

It'll probably have voice acting in cutscenes like Dual Destinies did, but not the rest of the dialogue. Fully-voiced trailers came out for several of the previous games too.

+Samantha Lienhard Actually, there probably will be a few lines voice acted (emphasis on "a few") Why do I know that? Because in the japanese version a few lines were also voice acted, as an example the new prosecutor Nahyuta Sahdmadhi insulting the defense in Khura'inese or Rayfa chanting some kind of spell before the Divination Seance begins. But we don't know for sure if those lines will also be voice acted in the english version.

Want spoilers? -LIGHT SPOILERS- Yeah. It's like that. Cases 1/3 are in Khura'in, cases 2/4 are in Japanifornia, and the last case is in both with the whole cast.

Wrong, Phoenix isn't a prosecutor. Don't go spreading lies like that. The final case's first part is not a traditional Ace Attorney trial.

they're afraid they won't sell as well here because of what happened with apollo justice and AAI1. paying to make physical copies outside of their home turf costs money. they lost money before and like a smart business, they won't do the same thing again and expect different results just because there's a subgroup saying that things will be different otherwise. this is just my opinion but, they definitely put more effort into the phoenix wright franchise than they do with street fighter and those (( do )) have physical copies. the lack thereof does not demonstrate a ' lack of effort '. it's called ' business sense '. these games have a niche fanbase. speaking as a fan myself, it would be great if we could be catered to a bit more with a physical release but, math and money ruin everything. maybe if we keep buying the digital releases, thus demonstrating the demand, they'll switch back to physical ones. i remember reading about people boycotting AA5 because of this not realizing that they were shooting themselves in the foot.
