Never been big on white dial divers but the black bezel and black outlining in the Indeces, it's a damn good looking watch

That’s a great watch. I’m so glad they are offering smaller sizes. And their introductory prices are beyond awesome. Thanks for the great review. And I genuinely felt bad for the Lions. They are a young team. They are going to be a force to be reckoned with next season.

I've been meaning to try out Phoibos at some point. To me they always seemed quality wise up there with the likes of Zelos. But most of the time, the designs didn't look cohesive or dimensions threw me off and didn't look like it was going to work for me. This might be the first time that nothing really looks out of place and the dimensions seems on point! And at the price, it's almost a crime not to pick up one. One of the few brands out there that can still be had for a steal! Appreciate the video! Wasn't sure whether to go black or white dial, but I like the legibility on this white version against the black hands and indices.

Great design. Liked the original version but never got it because I thought it to be a bit chunky. When I saw this version, and the offer I thought I couldn't miss the opportunity. Couldn't get the white one, which would have been my first choice, but could get the black one on the last day of the early bird offer with only 3 left. Got it just in time.

Steve those marine nationale straps look great on big wirsts like yours as the buckle tends to sit on the underside of yout wrist and hence not seen. With smaller wrists, the buckle sits on the side of the wrists and makes it look chunky, visually less appealing both for the wearer and from an onlooker. Wish i had known this before i bought mine, would have settled for a ribbed nato or a perlon strap

Absolutely cannot choose between this and the probably-goofy-to-most-people cotton candy blue. Steve, would Phoibos ever consider making an on the fly that could replace the existing clasp, or would it just come on the next version? I couldn’t find much in the way if accessories on their site, so I wasn't sure if it's how they do things. Great vid as always, sir

i have the older version and besides the size there are more diffrences. the new one has 200m compared to mine 500m, mine has a dlc and lastly mine came on a rubber strap. i think this is a great watch and now more people can enjoy this wonderful design. btw, i got mine a dlc bracelet from strapcode that balances the watch very well. THE ANGRY KING KRAKEN RULES!!! 🙂

This looks superb. I'm a phoibos fan...I have 14 of their watches. This looks to be a serious rival to the zelps swordfish ....I love the look of it and I would buy it...however...the clasp is awful. It's the same clasp as on my white frost dial phoibos Proteus which is the only weak part on that watch. It's a rubbish clasp...pure and simple. I'll wait for a v.2 with a better clasp. So frustrating.

Got chunk to it, so Leviathan is a fitting name. I have a Monster, so why not a Leviathan? I love that it’s such a well thought out design with solid detailing (to me the clasp is the only negative). I think it answers the question of what you get when you step up from the $100-150 watches to the $200-250 level. The evenly fading lume is an interesting feature. I’m guessing they have applied lume in different amounts to the various components to achieve the effect.

Agree about everything. The lume was a pleasant surprise, indeed. The entire watch (besides the clasp) was a pleasant surprise. If they fit their new clasp on this...oh baby.
