Physicists React to Could The Modern World Beat The Rumbling? (Attack on Titan Final Season) 

W dont have enough fighter jets to kill 700K titans before their climate impact wipes out all human knowledge. We are talking about 700K 50m tall titans imitating heat. We literally could not beat the rumbling. You are massively overestimating the capability of human kind. Just to put it into perspective how silly the concept of fighter jets beating collosal titans is, consider the following. Jets can only take out a few titans each depending on their loadout. They then need to land and re-arm. Because of their range limitations they would not be able to launch from very far away. Each jet would have at most 3-5 chances to re-arm. We don't have airfields spread out well enough to rearm the number of jets needed to beat even 1/2 of them. Very quickly the Titans would trample the runways they would be launching from. Even if-by some miracle- we beat half of them, the climate impact alone would be worse than nuclear war. Speaking of nukes, if we used nukes we would at best aim for mutually assured destruction.

@@photoninteraction9005 I think you’re not only understestimating just how many fighter jets we have but you’re discount our entire navy which is far superior and larger than the one we see in AoT and that navy caused a problem for a decent chunk of those titans. Our air force consists of a lot more than just fighter jets and has plenty of helicopters and other planes. I’m speaking mainly on the USA rn but even without the warning, we’d be able to figure out what’s going on, and probably pull more than half our navy and air force together to defend against those titans and I’m more than willing to bet we’d win.

I think no one thinks about how the heat of the titans would effect jet engine intakes

I may be wrong but I feel like that jet engines couldn’t work in a environment where it’s that hot

@@whitehatstudios3616 I was just thinking about that. You would have to shoot them from a distance but the drawback to that is the titans have more time to see the missiles coming and block or turn their heads, while with ODM gear, you're so close that once you get a clear shot, you're that much more likely to get a kill. Plus the size also impacts maneuverability. As is, high speed jets are made with heat shielding to protect from the air friction. Maybe with a few tweaks, they can make them to resist Titan steam as well.

but everyone was scared marley would get the founder and they tried their best to prevent it so while smaller shifters were getting overshadowed they were still scared of the founder bc if it unleashed all its potential the damage would be much greater if eren rlly didnt want to bother he would be able to kill the world.

1 billion lions can still only do physical damage. With Ghost, Rock and Steel types on the frontline, Levitating and Flying types in the air, Pokemon with healing moves backing them up and all the others doing projectile attacks, they could get it done. It would take 11.4 days if each Pokemon on average can kill 1 lion per second.

Each pokemon takes turns, lion's don't, even if you say mewtwo would wreck havoc, it's 1 billion lion's, they are NOT gonna survive (the pokemon)

@@PeeweePlug that is if he doesn't use the founder to create something to redirect the nuke, thus eliminating the possibility of using said nuke on Eren himself. And if you were to nuke the rest of the rumbling, due to how many nukes would be needed, you would just do his job for him (plus an extra element; radioactive fallout).

@@Kraxel-North Eren ain't redirecting no nuke 😂. He has control over the subjects of Ymir but he can't control moving objects in the sky. No matter Eren does he pretty much can't protect himslef from the intese explosion of a nuclear weapon.

Fighter Jets are 1000 times more faster then zeke and he can't stop any missiles and nukes

​@@artsycosmie887jets usually fly at a speed more than mach 1 to 3... you know 1 mach speed itself is 1234km/h. Hell even commercial flights fly at .80 mach speed, thus entirely aot wouldn't even be able to see a stealth fighter and bomber coming coz they fly at greater speeds of mach 3 for the least. The only thing they'll be able to see will be bombs exploding on them. And also those things maneuver as agile as an F1 does at corners. And ofc the point where they can simply launch their rockets from miles away and that the rocket itself would be faster than the damn jet.

Well, despite that lack of research. The conclusion was yes, the Rumbling wouldn't even last a day by how easy it is with our technology to wipe it out. I do disagree with the guy of the original video though. Even with all the mystical mumbo jumbo of the Funding Titan, we're so far ahead in terms of warfare that not even that would be an issue. Eren/Ymir could conjure all the past Titans they want to defend themselves, they would not be a match for the current warfare. Even if Eren keeps rising after bombardments, we have the technology today to keep doing it until he becomes ashes or directly do it in an instant. What I do believe, is that depending on how quick the governments of the world respond, the Rumbling could make more or less damage. A quick action when the Rumbling is just starting and it's way more centralized would make little to zero casualties (if it starts in a human deserted area). In case bureaucracy and coordination takes too long, the casualties can grow terribly, specially when Titans arrive to heavily populated cities. Governments would compromise and sacrifice the lives of innocents to prevent loosing the lives of many others down the line. So, even by todays standards while not being the end of the world, a Rumbling scenario has the potential to be a horrific, devastating, and traumatic experience.

yeah i mean you either die by rumbling or all die by climate change by the nuke innocent peoples death that cant be justified and so much more actually i was gonna say their best choice would be fighter jets but not just smoke imagine eren just spawning a bunch of beasts titans capable of excelent throwing like zeke if not just duplicate zeke using the hardening making it free military on his back protecting the nape,or just also bunch of past warhammer titans with potentiel weapons that can pierce throught metal easily.

You could blow up every single nuke in the planet and humanity would not perish on any capacity, kurzgezagt did a video on it. Furthermore if the scouts can kill colossal titans with literal blades then it’d be ridiculously easy for 20 and 30 mm caliber canons to take out a titan with a shot or two.

@@FabiTheSnake how is it being fictional relevant? Everyone’s well aware of that, the question is how real life military would fare against it, and the answer is it would have zero problems. And you probably don’t even need nukes, I was just saying that even if you were to use the entirety of the world’s nuclear arsenal, it wouldn’t be an extinction event on any capacity.
