Kamp Kenan if your gonna add fish if he dosent quarantine them then you have to for up to 72 hours to make sure there aren’t any parasites or illnesses a lot of people kill there fish by doing that with there tanks And I would follow the same procedure with a pond especially if there are already a good amount of fish you don’t wanna kill them all
I love how Paul is so willing to teach people how to care for aquatic animals! He’s around my age and still has that zest for life and caring for his animals. I’d like to see him at your place after all the critters have settled in. Thanks again Kenan.
I love just watching people that love what they do and are still excited about it decades after they started. I strive to find my thing for that love, outside of my family.
I wish Paul had his own utube. Love watching him explain these fish. Wish I lived in a place that was able to have an outdoor pond, weather here in Oregon wouldn’t be very good for one.
Hey Kenan! I gotta tell you I enjoy Angle's hatchery vlogs with Paul. Such beautiful fish everywhere you look, so awesome. An the man is on top of his game I'm glad your bringing us along wile you pick his brain.
It’s good to see the people like y’all love their animals and take care of them is very special if they have a heart to care for the animals it’s not all about the money
I've known Paul for over 15 years now and he is awesome. I love going to his property and can't wait to finish my pond in a few months so I can get some Japanese koi from him.
That’s wonderful I’m glad to hear that you have a bunch of these fish in your pond because I know you will love them and I think you are a treasure to taking care of all your beautiful animals I love all your videos there awesome
Wow! Seriously such a sick fish farm he has!! Love when u visit here Kenan, super rad. Thanks for all the education through your videos as well. Love what you do!!! -Eric
Love these videos Kenan. I an a fish guy turned aquatic reptile guy! African cichlids have been a staple in my hobby for almost 20 years! Looking to order some Frontosa from Paul!
Cool more fish to eat the algae in your rec pond. I watched when you got fish last time from this guy. I just don't always comment, but always like. Anyway Kenan love watching the awesome development of your cool zoo. Take care and stay safe.
I love when you do videos with Paul! Guys like him, Tom Crutchfield, Ty Parks, and other veterans in the animal keeping and breeding business are so important. All of us need to soak in as much of their knowledge as we can!
The common plec is the problem. People aren’t educated properly when purchasing them from big box pet stores and end up with this huge fish they can’t keep in short time. There are plenty of varieties that stay small enough for aquariums and are much more beautiful. I prefer to keep bristlenose and rubbernose plecs myself
Paul's a great guy! Been there a few times! Its been a while since I'm no longer in the cichlid game but definitely a phenomenal person and very knowledge on fish and sulcatas!
Im currently taking an anthropology class, it’s so amazing how I can understand what y’all are saying since we use the same terms. I love the educational videos y’all make together! Keep up the amazing work! :)
Hi Kenan! I have an awesome series concept that I think would be perfect for you to do! Your videos are both educational and intriguing and I think this concept would help a lot of people. Concept: eg. "Before you buy a snake" content: education on what is needed for snake, life expectancy, diet etc. Before you buy a _____ Large Fish, Turtle, Snake etc etc. I really think it would be helpful to a lot of people and interesting in general.
Wowww never got cichlids but starting to have a passion for them. Thanks Kenan! I appreciate all the knowledge you kindly share with us! *Can’t wait for the pond release*
Paul!!! Glad to see him in another video! I learn so much. I always comment this because its true. Also, he reminds me of my late Grandpops. He liked fish, he had 3 butterfly coi, 2 oscars. ❤️🇵🇭
I agree you’re just trying to get your pond to be at its best so you can enjoy your own pond I think that’s beautiful that’s what I would do if I had a pond like you I would just enjoy what I have and share it with others and take care of them beautiful animals which you doing and I think that’s wonderful😊💜💙❤️💕💕💕
I love when you go to Paul's he's so cool. So knowledgeable and helpful. Does Paul ship to Texas? And can a small amount of those Daboise ones go in a 90 gallon fish tank?
Those cichlids are better algae eaters than plecos, but you should TOTALLY get a bunch of plecos for your pond. Either herbivore, like Panaque (needs wood in the water too), or some omnivores like the more common Glyptoperichthys/Pterygoplichthys/Hypostomus (these names are thrown around alot), all of these have huge heads and fins, and swim very majestically when they get big, up to 2 feet/60cm long! They are very friendly, even to eachother when there is enough space, and you will be able to pet them in the water and swim with them.
I'm getting on in age but learning so much from your channel. Just wish I lived over there but I'm in uk 🇬🇧 and things are so different over here lol. Keep it up xx
Cool fish! If I had a pond like yours I'd have to get at least 4 Pleco's (Plecostomus) to put in it because they will get 2 feet long and they look like Dinosaurs. lol. They're just cool. I've had them in regular 150 gallon fish tanks, and well, they're just really cool looking and they kept the glass and other things clean from algae.
I like when you do videos on the cichlids because I learn more about them. I have peacock Cichlids so these vids teach me more about them that I don’t know. Love all your vids btw
