I installed the sound stream reserve with the hertz amp and infinity speakers (stage 2). I am more than impressed the ease of installation and most important the sound upgrade. Planning in the near future to add lower speakers to the system. Love your customer service, products and quality. No kidding it does look like I had the system professionally installed. when I bought my package from Volunteer Audio being in California watching Jake and his videos when he said VA made everything plug and play Jake means plug and play. what worked for me is that i had a clean slate with a 2021 Electra Glide Standard. after purchasing the soundstream HDHU14 hertz amp and a pair of hertz 6.5 and a pair of hertz 6x9. before i hooked up the hertz amp i was already blown away by the sound quality, clarity, and loudness of just the headunit and the hertz 6.5. when i added the amp and the 6x9 it was a whole new level. going down the highway 90-100mph im at 37 volume and it is clear no distortion and i get highs mids and lows. best part is Jake has already tuned the hertz amp for my setup, all i had to do is plug, run the rear speaker wire and amp power to the battery and i was set. so when they say you get what you pay for! Yes i got what i payed for and more.

Got mine installed the Friday night before going to Myrtle bike week everything was easy as jay says , sounds great only problem I had was getting the hertz speakers in the lid piece until I realized that it was bc the lid was flimsy . Got everything in and rolled to Myrtle , everyone I’ve come across that hears it is baffled by the setup , turned so many heads on the boulevard. My buddy liked it so much he ordered the same hertz amp that came with my kit and while I had the flash software we did his a few days later , great job jay!

Having the HDHU in my 02 Roadglide it's in and looks like the bike jumped into the present time. Looks awesome. Glad I researched before the upgrade.

Great stuff! I have the Sony X7000 radio. Do you recommend upgrading to the new radio? If not, do you still make kits for those? I have to Rockford front speakers and that’s all.

that road glide sounds awesome but i have a question. I have a road glide ultra that's a 2011 with an aftermarket head unit. after listening for about 10 minutes it gets very distorted, will an amp help since i have mtx speakers in the fairing and the tour pack???

I have a 2017 Road Glide Special that I have added a King Tour pak. With that, I have also added all 8 Stage 11 speaker's/Amp's(4). How do I fix my system? My Lid speakers in my opinion are junk! Im getting by with the rest of them. Thanks.

with a 4 channel amp. you said 4 ohms speakers the amp can handle up to 8 speakers. so on my ultra. i want to do a 6 speaker set up. do all the speakers still get the same rms power? do all the speakers play at full potential?

The first time I heard you use this song, I didn't like it. Now several channels I watch use this song, so I have to like it. lol Would a diamond 4v2 run 4 Herts 65 neos's and be loud and clear? I have 2 of them and a 2v2. Also have the Hertz 6x9 neos in the lids. What do you recommend? Running the 4v2 at 2 ohm to the front and the 2v2 to the rear at 4 ohm?

Hello Jay from Southern California. My question is how could I tune my 2013 road king? I have Hertz speakers 6.5 on my lowers and 6x9 on my lids. I have a fosgate 400 watt amp 4 Chanel. I also have a MTX sound bar in front of my bars. That allows me to connect my phone using a line out going to to my amp. I have no idea how To set my gains. Can you help? Mario

This is just what I need for my 2020 street glide. I have seen other you tube Harley stereo guys who install and don't want to sell you a complete kit as they want the install cash as well. That is a bit difficult for me as I live in France ! This is perfect as I have a pair of the hertz 165 neos waiting to go in the bike , so can order the amp and wiring from you. Can you tell me do you use Oxygen free copper wire for power and ground ?

I would like to get one of these packages from you I have a 2018 Street glide I put the new Rockford fosgate Harley system in my bike with Harley lids in the saddlebags the system is just not good but in the saddle bags I know the lids are smaller than 6x9s I'm just kind of lost I don't know where to go from here

Jay, I just purchased the Stage 6 Hertz with the 1000 w amp. I run the HDHU.14Si head unit right now while I wait on my V2 to ship. To get the most out of my system. Should I still flash the bike to 6 Speaker 2 amp to get the most out of the system. Right now it is flashed to Stage 2 Rockford Fosgate with tour pack speakers.

great video and extremely informative. one question though. you stated you use the boom 6 speaker 2 amp flash. is that the same regardless of the number of speakers you are running? i have a 2019 E glide standard that i put a 2 channel cerwin vega amp and polk 6.5 speakers in. i used the BT35 to correct the eq curve. all of this was done prior to finding your channel. should i flash the radio and eliminate the BT35? i will also be planning on the HDHU14, just not this year.

OK Jay. I have watched all of your vids and I want to make a decision. 2019 CVO Road Glide. I want to keep the current radio and change out the speakers and amps. If you were making the upgrade on YOUR bike would you go with Hertz our Infinity or Precision speakers? In addition, using a 6x9 with the special bracket, does it affect space very much? thx

I just bought a 2024 Road Glide Limited and upgraded to Rockford Fosgate stage 2, did not do prior research. I spend over $3k on that and wanted an 8 speaker system instead of 4 but that price was way out of tough. Now that I already have what I have can I add saddle bag and lower fairing speakers of a different brand? And amp of course.

What would you recommend for a 2007 Electra Glide Standard? I currently have a stock head unit, running Hertz ECX165.5 speakers with a Rockford PBR300x4 AMP. I'm leaning towards HERTZ SPL Show Series Bundle with One Pair of ST 25A NEO Compression Tweeters and One Pair of SV 165 NEO 6.5" Midrange Drivers. Also considering speaker lids with another Rockford PBR300x4 amp that I already have, but what speakers? On a budget unfortunately

If I were to purchase the wired amp upgrade (HMP4D), do you send a pc to use to flash the HD radio? I know your competitor sends it while holding a deposit, then we ship it back. When Harley sends out updates you would down load them onto a flash drive and the system would take over if one were to upgrade to the new system would you still do the updates that Harley puts out the same way?

oK, nice that you went into a discussion for us but did you think about telling us just what all the abbreviations you mentioned like a "DSP" or a "rider box' is, "RTA" really was or meant? The amp install looked just like a Rockford Fosgate amp I watched (plugs all the same type) I don't think you mentioned or recommended how or who ask to do the flash

Which model year are you talking about? I have a 2010, do I need it flashed if add an amp and better speakers? Will 6.5" speakers fit in my 2010 FLHTK?

I am not knowledgable about audio, but I have a question. On my stock GT system radio clarity declines rapidly from 50mph up. But the voice of the navigation system is great up to 80 or 85, probably beyond. Why is that?

Honestly I used to love Fat Head cycles as they would pre solder and set everything to plug and play which was awesome but they have disappeared. Then I found you guys, I reached out to customer service when I needed to buy a harness to add rear speakers and service was great, price was good and shipping was fast! Cant wait to buy the new soundstream reserve from you!

I got boss speaker I did get your harness I did not like the wiring harness boss had. The box says 600 amps. But most of the you tube video says 400amps. I’m retiring in 2 years and I’m planing on getting a new bike and a gift to me. So I’m not spending too much on the bike.
