Driving sketchy cars to pick up even sketchier cars… Still one of my favourite things to do. My inner mechanic was yelling at the screen to diagnose the non start problem, probably a dead fuel pump/relay issue.

Buy a jumpbox dude. I bought one a couple years ago for like $180. I literally use it all the time. I even use it with a car air pump to have a completely portable and easy to use air pump. The jump box would have powered your car for the exact same price as a battery and paid for itself that first use and still be able to be used for many years.

He’s gonna do what he wanted a year or two ago. He’s gonna revert his other low mile Supra to stock, literally swap every component over and send it. Only difference is the trans but if it’s going to Mo then it’s very very possible it gets manual swapped in the process. Very easy to do all this when you have two black TT cars.

Love it. I own a rollback wrecker for personal use and still find myself driving my shit box 3500 dollar Porsche Cayenne to far out of town/state to try and drive something home that’s been parked for way to long. Just getting to the car is a gamble lol.

I never understand how people can let these cars sit. This is the equivalent of leaving at least like 50k in cash sitting outside to just rot away without a care.

There was turbo Supra in neighborhood close to mine that had been sitting outside for 8+ years. I tried to buy it back in they day but they weren’t interested. I now have a lot more capital and was going to go back and see if they had maybe changed their minds. It’s gone now. Was super disappointed. Hoping they are just restoring it themselves rather than the sold to another buyer.

I love Rob but that was painful to watch knowing the tools and resources he has he could have been done in an hour but he spent all day trying to get it an had to leave it in the street

When was the last time you opened the Mercedes hood? That was a generational nest.

I'll usually fill an empty water bottle with gas and poke a hole in the cap. Then take off the intake pipe, open the throttle body, and squirt fuel into the intake manifold. It'll usually let the car run a few seconds.

Even with an Auto that’s a great find! Love those MK4 supras. If your keeping the black one id 6spd swap it and leave it stock (if it’s a turbo) or leave it an auto, clean it up and just make it a daily driver with an auto to just cruise around with

Lol you should have just looked at the basic things relays, fuses, spray some brake cleaner in the intake to see if it’s a fuel issue. Check ignition wires and spark plugs. I bet it’s something simple

I watched a recent video, same ish car with the super cool gold emblems. Major difference. That car was pristine with like 6k miles or even less i think. Either way these r nice cars that are bringing good money right now. U gotta get one from someone who doesn't really look into current prices because they'd probably spend the couple grand to get it looking amazing and driving to sell for a nice price.
