good pro tips!!! most new fresh products especially in collectibles are way over hyped when first released. Usually it always goes down in price later on 100%. I've def bought too early before and then 2 months later the price was $100+ cheaper. Just be patient people!

Goes both ways with people attempting to lower market price. A seller a few days ago had 10ish Moonbreons listed on TCGplayer at $750. They "sold" 2, but then it seems their shop was removed TCGplayer, and the sales removed from the history.

removing is not enough... sellers must be registered with a valid identification, and tcgplayer should sue any sellers fooling/scamming buyers and tcgplayer itself. For the time being, tcgplayer reputation and its future is at stake.

simply place a "PENDING PURCHASE" tag on it, and allow others to place a buy on it as well incase the first buyer does not have the funds/cancels, it then goes to the next buyer, etc(verify the 2nd buyer as they are purchasing but do not remove funds)

I think TCG needs a filter for other languages but I also think they need a filter for card condition when you are looking at a list of cards instead of clicking into the card and find out the lowest listing near mint is much higher. Just a waste of time I would say.

Cardmarket is awesome. Transparent as a buyer and seller. Support can be quite slow but so far I got everything resolved. Also if you look for certain print variants (languages/ promos etc) you have a easy to find menu on the page of the generic card) I also don't touch the Van Gogh Pika since the distribution has been so weird and I suspect some big scalpers to sit on huge stacks.

EU , has taken action, cardmarket has shown that it lives its reputation as good market place. I m still waiting for tcgplayer to follow on its foot step. Pretty much all the community knows that in tcgplayer market manipulation is part of the daily life of tcgplayer users, almost entrenched in the platform design. Can TCGplayer survive in the long term while continuing damaging it's reputation?

I'm actually breaking down collection boxes that, tins, and a variety of random products and extracting a evolving skies pack with 3 other packs on average for around 3.30 a pack. I've been ripping til my hearts content and it's been profitable. I've pulled a Ray Ray Alt Art VMAX, Ray Alt V, Umbreon VMAX, Umbreon V, Gengar VMAX, and many other random hitters, playable cards/reverse holos for my store to offer online. It is profitable for the right price at the moment to rip your heart out but its all about A) price point for packs B) Buying in massive bulk cases and C) product that is purchased and that has hits in them as well as best pack quantity/type per overall price.
