Facebook is by far the worst place for Pokemon. A lot of the Veriswap scams come from Facebook groups. There's "waffles" and stolen product being sold and just flat out fake accounts selling.
Disgusting. I sell on whatnot, and I’ve spent a ton of money there, never had a bad purchase, everyone I’ve bought from is honest and fair. However, there definitely are some rotten people. Luckily, it’s easy to tell within 5 min whether or not you should buy from someone.
I sell on Whatnot too. Alot of good reputable sellers. Do you have your shady sellers, what app doesn't. That's the people's fault, not the platform. The platform can not control the live feed if they are acting shitty. In this case, Squishy got banned, good. Fuck him. Rattle should do a video on some good sellers. Those that are reputable, that have had good times on the app, 5 star transactions etc. Rattle WILL NOT DO IT, RATTLE IF YOU ARE READING THIS, I WANT YOU AND I ASK YOU TO DO A VIDEO ON GOOD SELLERS. But you won't. Too chickenshit to do it i guess.
I'm on whatnot too and at this point you just have to know who to trust and most streamers are trustworthy. As long as Whatnot takes action in situations like this I am good with them
Same here. Made a lot of friends too. You never see the good ones, only the bad ones on streams like rattle's. He should do some shorts on the good sellers for a change.
@@gr5513 Unfortunately he wont. He loves to be portrayed as some kinds of New Guru and savior of TCG. A person who would say, "i told ya so." Whatnot is more than just TCG selling. Hell i have found some deals in or categories. Thousands of sellers vs a handful of bullshit. Whatnot can be responsible for peoples actions. The crime must occur before one is punished. Whatnot is doing better. Cmon Rattle, spotlight some good ones at random. Plenty of us out there.
I'm always sad to hear about situations like this. I've bought a few things on Whatnot when I first started collecting a year ago, before I found your channel. And every person I bought from was nice, talked to me, some even threw in extra's when they asked how long I had been collecting and it was only a few weeks/months. Really great people. I don't understand why these other people do this. I did stop using these apps after finding your channel and seeing all the reports of scammers, I didn't want to risk myself getting hit once. Sucks to see it's STILL happening.
I've gotten great deals on WN, but the more I got on, the more I realized it's mostly turning into people with big followings who don't know much, if anything about the hobby. I've seen a prominent WN streamer at collectacon literally begging a vendor to sale a WOTC booster box at half price in exchange for a shout out on his stream. This was one streamer who can't pronounce half the names of the Pokemon. I also got turned off to another prominent seller who literally screams at chat if the card doesn't sell for what he wants, and then makes the buyer feel shitty about it. There are some solid sellers though, but more often than not, the buying experience isn't pleasant on the platform.
The guy blocked me because I told him his nm card was lp- at best with major whitening and scratches on the halo-he also mad a fuss about taking the card out of the protector and sleeve haha
on the app, It says squishypinkstuff is on vacation and their shop will reopen soon. Also the tracking comes back as invalid. The user should definitely contact law enforcement about the swatting threat. Also someone get the scammers name and post it
Guys, ALWAYS look at reviews and stars, yes people could still have some bad reviews but 4.7* isn’t worth the hassle on whatnot, it is extremely easy to keep a 5* rating! I have over 3k sales 650 reviews with all 5*. Do your due diligence and make sure you buy responsibly! I hate seeing this stuff on whatnot, hurts us good sellers..
Recently got banned for reporting different items didn’t arrive and referring my wife to the platform is taking advantage of the credit system? I never asked for credit when it says review order. They then locked my wife’s account claiming it’s mine. They literally REFUSE to address it. Just our teams findings. Why punish multiple people for issues occurred by one
squishypinkstuff sounds like a person who has a lot of issues in his sorry excuse of life. whatnot needs to have in place where the money is held until the buyer receives the item and it checks it off as what they were buying. better business bureau needs to be contacted on whatnot.
Do you think maybe when applying to what not there should be a questionnaire of how to deal with certain situations with customers? Kind of like when you are applying to a job and a job gives you a bunch of questionnaires before they hire you.
Lmao there are plenty of legit sellers on whatnot, these people would scam on Ebay or Drip too.😂 terrible take, address the actual problem sellers, not the platform unless they refuse to remove these people (unlikely as trust and safety has been cracking down over the last year)
I sell on whatnot, I don't scam at all. I treat my customers with respect and give them value time and time again. There are reputable sellers on there. Do your homework when you buy on the seller. I sell part time to clear out my hoard of pokemon cards.
@@poing333while I agree that whatnot should not be boycotted in its entirety, and the individual sellers are the thing that needs to be weeded out. The reason people hate on WhatNot as a whole is because of their terrible lack of accountability. It’s abhorrent that negative reviews are almost always deleted off of a sellers account, why should that ever exist? Other than the niche troll who leaves bad reviews that are unwarranted. But no, there are hundreds of negative reviews deleted daily to maintain a sellers reputation despite them being shady and predatory. Whatnot IS failing, you cannot deny this.
There are tons of great sellers. Just not in pokemon. Pokemon sucks since logan paul got involved, too many scumbags. My section is niche with great deals and amazing sellers
@@RattlePokemon I have had 3 instances where my Whatnot package arrived and the items were not clarified on screen, condition mainly. I filed, got a refund, returned item NO PROBLEM!!! Cmon man. Do a video on us good sellers or Nah? Would be a cool for you to show, the GOOD side of us on Whatnot. We do exist and one sentence of saying, there are 15 good people on whatnot blah blah blah...stupid ass comment. Give credit where credit is due.

Lmao I reported to whatnot probably 30-40 scammers what they were defending but the offered me a seller account and all I had to do is accept off and be on a zoom meeting with others being onboarded. Lmao also when I grabbed phone to comment white watching on tv they were playing a whatnot ad on this video
I love your content about calling scammers out. That’s why I subscribe and watch you but stop telling people not to buy on a certain platform. It just hurts my business. Please just teach them how to spot scammers, read reviews and always call them out when you find scammers. If you find a seller like me who you love and trust, just buy from them it’s not simple
Why do that? Just so opossum can get more attention for a video about how he thinks someone should run their channel and criticize a guy who's literally selling his collection to fight one of the biggest crooks in this community. From what I've seen rattle is the only one with the big enough stones to stand up to mr bASSlick.
