This judge is wonderful. He makes sure that everyone understands the motions and the processes involved. He is very plain on each subject so there is no questions later.
A trade off for the confession of Jake. Without it. They may have trouble convicting George. Angela and Billy. I rather have them in prison for 30 years or life than a lawyer getting them off.
Billy running his mouth for nearly 2 hours in the first interview pointing fingers and everyone else and telling investigators he smashed his phone because he kept calling Chris Sr. Investigators check receipts moron. He just couldn’t stop talking. He may as well have confessed right then.

I'm watching this as I am watching George #4 trial (oct. 15 2022 ) . It's my considered opinion that Angela drove Billy to this by constantly hounding him about Sophia being in danger while she was with her Mother. As you listen to the texts between them when they came back from Alaska. She is the instgater of every bit of this, and only got thirty years. Worst miscarriage of justice 😡😡😡😡 !!!

The efforts made & the preparation & premeditation of this crime is terrifying. The Wagner family wanted Jake & Hannah's daughter all to themselves. They wiped out Hannah's entire family. After all of that...now this baby girl plus 3 other kids, have no family. Selfish & evil.
When you take out a family of 8 over a custody dispute regarding your sex offender son...it's time to let justice be served and throw all 4 of these killers in prison with the death penalty. An eye for an eye. Hope not one of them gets away with murder.

The youngest son, Jake Wagner...the father of the child the dispute was over...sang like a canary. But, they were all done. Investigators uncovered everything.
@@djholliday4413 if you plead guilty it also forfeits you getting the death penalty. If they're smart and want to stay alive they will all plead guilty. This case is tragic.
The Constitution, upon which U.S.A. is supposedly based. Everyone has the right to representation, with hearing of evidence and decision by peers or judge, rather than being thrown in a dungeon somewhere without hearing or decision.
It's not a death penalty case if this is dragged on in court for 15,20 years. Tax payers take huge hit for this. Everybody in the court rooms and jails are making money off them and there's no punishment.

They found the silencers down a well on the property they use to own not to smart and a month before the shooting they bought the bullet casing catchers, this family really needed mental help now they will probably get the death penalty.
They said 3 years ago that it was going to be several years. They have 4 murder defendants and 8 victims. And a whole lot of other stuff has gone down, including corruption within the department. We all better hope it's not bad enough to end up overturning any guilty verdicts down the road.

@@shadow9403 People are deemed innocent until proven guilty! As a lawyer you have to act professionally and treat people with a certain amount of respect otherwise the defendant would say their lawyer did not represent then on a neutral basis therefore their due process was infringed and they did not get a fair trial.

It's now Oct 2022. George is currently on trial. Billy will be next. Jake and Angela pled guilty. Angela got 30 years. Jake has to testify against his brother and father as part of his plea deal that will take the DP off the table for all 3 of them, assuming he testifies to the satisfaction of the State. That's about it as of today
This divided family shows George and Billie resemble each other and Jake and Angela resemble each other. Weird how they are divided in their pleadings in the same way.

Lisa Goodin........The local and national press has been asking that question for a year but the authorities have been very tight-lipped about the evidence.....they did let out that the suspects had tampered with the victims cell phones and the security cameras on the property..... they also found evidence the George and his sons had equipment for making homemade silencers for guns......why??
3 hard drives of discovery....... And it's only a small amount! This proboner of an attorney will let this play out to build his rep. At best he will get them to pled guilty to escape the death penalty.

Its hard to imagine a family sitting down together and planning the massacre of the entirety of another family. Its truly horrific but i bet this gets made into a film at some time.

George Wagner, his wife and his two sons killed a family of 8 because the younger of the sons had a child with one of the victims and there was some sort of custody dispute between them.

I'm listening to Beth Karas, telling this story is truly a travestie 8 family members dead ? The death penalty just doesn't seem justified in this case. There has to be something more than that i can't think of any punishment that would be justice for this family's Loss ? I honestly believe if ever they need to make an example out of criminals this is a case to do just that. I honestly believe that they should make a giant size Electric microwave an pull the switch on National Television then ask who's next ? My heart goes out to the families and friends of the family, i can't even imagine what they are going through ?

Sofia, Hannah Rhoden & Jake Wagner's daughter was staying with the Wagners the night of the killings. Question : Where was Sofia during the killings? 1. Left home alone? Did one of them stay home with her? Took her with them? Left her with Angela's dead brain alcoholic mother? Angela's shoe prints were found in blood at 1 of the 4 crime scenes. Four -5 mornings a week, until 1 week before the killings, the Wagners along with Rita Newcombe, Angela's mother ate breakfast together at a restaurant. So, Rita probably babysat Sofia. Update : Jake confessed and pled guilty. He has agreed to testify against his family provided the death penalty be taken off the table for himself and his family. He also, led detectives to where all the gun were hidden that were used in the killings -Fredericka Wagner's Flying W Farm.
From what I gather the Wagners were worried about molestation accusation coming out of the Rhoden family. So were try to prevent it from happening to baby Sophia.
@@wendyw8931 Wrong. Hanna's 6 day old was with her new boyfriend. Paternity test confirmed it. This child is now with the father. Hanna & Jake's daughter, Sophia is in foster care.
Is he proud of killing the Rhodens & have ur sons & wife locked up. Sure r not dad of the yr & u didnt get points to have Angela. Shouldve taught ur boys LOVE & MORALS. Respect is earned & self love is priceless but Sofia & Bulvine now have a chance at a happy life without y'all!💜🙏💜🥵

Could the corrupt sheriff be responsible? I feel there is something about this case that does not make sense. Innocent until proven guilty. Just because they are wealthy, it does not make them guilty. We all deserve justice. I pray they are not guilty. I feel that it involves corruption in the county law enforcement. Just saying.

Georges mom paid for her attorney would pay for the others. She's has been sued for fraud and other things. She is the one with the money, plotted with the killers, but beat her charges. This whole family in the end is every man or woman for themselves.
