Pike County murder trial: New details from prosecution on murders during opening statements 

@Jwestside I know! Listening to the ex wife’s testimony about how bizarre this murderous family is & how Angela (I think that’s the mother’s name) ruled over everything her boys did to include her adult married son’s sex life! I hope they ALL get what they deserve!

These folks are the most immoral foul narcissistic group of cold blooded murderers. They slaughtered 8 people including a 16 yr old. The two masterminds got a plea deal? Shame on you Ohio! Those two especially should have got death. And you had the evidence to do it!😡

Well they brought the infants to the hospital, he went to the hospital and tried to take the infant home and he looked at the infant's foot and said that it was his infant because of its toes. So basically he watched some other man celebrate a pregnancy that he thought he was involved in. They planned it for a month and they waited until she gave birth and got out of the hospital. He thought it was what he had to do to be able to procure the infant.. I wonder if it feels like a dumbass when he finds out that it wasn't his infant

She is thorough and professional. The trial is not being done for entertainment purposes. She has done a superb job of putting together all the pieces.

Agree 100%, unless that is what they think the jury expects. Reminds me of prosecuting attorney Marci Clark going up against the Dream Team lawyers in the OJ Simpson trial. Sorry, I am showing my age.

I was just saying that after he massacred a family and put what he thought was his infant on its dead mother's breast " he didn't worry about the breast for the other baby.. And then when he remarried.. the grandmother was getting jealous so she was saying that his new wife couldn't be near the baby because she was molesting the baby.. That probably means they were hurting the kids themselves.. I'm telling you there's more evil than that's being exposed. You don't expose all the evil up on the stand It goes deeper

I fully expected a very clear PowerPoint at least. This is horrible. I must admit she's really forcing me to question everything they claim, their evidence, everything. I truly detest saying this but I would be lying otherwise. I'm wondering if there were others involved they missed, or if George was really there, maybe he was the one home??? I'll wait for their evidence against him but I haven't seen much tbh... They malign his character a bit, but I want the proof he was there and willingly participated. The prosecution painted the family like a cult run by Angela, which if so would make the boys victims similar to the many cases of girls escaping this type of thing and they're elevated as heroes... Yet we're supposed to think of boys as criminals. I need an unbiased psychologist expert in cults to testify.

Barbara, I completely agree. As a Prosecutor, her opening statement was a bit embarrassing. It bothers me when people say "umm, umm, umm". Could hardly listen to her. I'm from Ohio & I can reassure others not every county is like this. I'm unfamiliar with this Prosecutor but maybe she was nervous? Almost couldn't listen to her. Yes, way to much info.

Horrid! This may be the best prosecutor in this po dunk town. Thank goodness for YT and speed 2x. I would be dozing. I’ve never heard a prosecutor give an entire outline of what will be said including an entire script telling us word for word what witnesses will say before called. Let them tell us. You don’t need to give this mundane play by play peppered with ummmm 🤨 .
