I can only imagine how exhausting this was to play, because it was honestly a little exhausting to _watch._ I enjoyed every episode of the playthrough up until the final floor of the Dream Den... About an hour of JUST the last floor completely pitch black (AFTER it was condensed and abridged) was almost painful. I could feel the second-hand salt from watching you suffer through this. You deserve more subs for going through this.
I have literally no idea how you completed this level. I struggled when there was light in the cave! Have loved watching you play and also knowing I'm not the only Pikmin obsessive!
I know I’m a year late, but after getting inspired by your run, I attempted my own. Somehow I managed to beat Kaizo after 54 hours (although a third of that time was sped up). Thanks Heff for the great content and the inspiration!
Watched this whole series in like 4 days and just wow the dedication you have is amazing.And seeing you play one of my favorite games as a kid when I played the game 3 times.And it was just fun watching you play even if was just stream highlights
Sameee, i remembered the only pikmin i got to play and i suddenly saw this kaizo version and i was like "well, lets be nostalgic while also new to this!" and it was a blast

what an exciting journey. another brave lad has fully completed the story mode and now has additional content. :D all that's left is going deep into the bonus cave, the easy-to-hard challenge mode, and looking at the 2-player battle mode changes. i wonder what comes next?
there's just more enemies with hazards, it gets brutally more difficult than the wistful wild caves. you do it mostly for bragging rights rather than grinding
No, it was only filled with laughing gas after it was taken in by the ship and marketed. It was originally filled with poison. "This fiendish component was used by the Titan Dweevil! Although it was once a primitive chemical weapon, it is now a weapon of mass hilarity." "You cannot see it. You cannot smell it. Yet this weapon would steal your life, given the chance. At least it USED to, until I shrewdly exchanged its poison gas for hilarious laughing gas. Crafted with an eye for safety, it is the funniest weapon ever devised!" Fake fan, didn't read all of the sales pitches in the treasure hoard
Good job on the Kaizo edition I’m glad you are finally released from it! But here is a tip if you burp the titan dweevil the weapons on it become invincible so when you burp sprayed it you weren’t doing anything and if you burp the titan dweevil while it is attacking it will just extend the attack duration, but other than that good job! 👍
I know I am probably really late for this but after watching this playthough for a week you sir are freaking amazing Pikmin player! I always love the series, and Pikmin 2 being one of my favs, along side Pikmin 3. Watching this playthrough was awesome. Hopefully I can do this myself but I doubt it XD haha thanks Heff was fun watching this and cannot wait to see more future playthrough and possibly join the stream one day!
Something you need to keep in mind is that you had a LOT of resets… and of course those stats aren’t included in the monster totals 😅 I don’t wanna think about some of those monster counts with that included ☠️
Kinda late, but I was wondering if you were thinking of ever play versions 2 or 3 of Kaizo? One of my friends went to download it, and we realized that you had actually played version 1, and there were now some new versions. I think it could be fun to watch once you've had a break, to see the version differences
1. i got to be the 1000th like. neato, amazed it dident have more yet. 2, good fucking god this was agony incarnate, you are truely the master of pikmin 2 for all of time.
Honestly, Pikmin 2 is just the best out of the three because you can freely make an entire hack or mod for the entire game like Bikmin. Congrats, by the way. I don't even know if I can control my sanity on the final floor of the final cave.
If you defeat a Groink or Bulbear and it comes back to life, does that count as only one, or does it count as a whole second enemy in the enemies-defeated stats?
