Its so amazing seeing Pikmin finally get this much well deserved love!

I love the way nintendo improvised to bring us a green pikmin. They said they wouldnt add one because it would blend in with the environment, so they added one to a mode where you cant really see the fresh green landscape and i love it

I keep seeing people not notice that Oatchi is going to be playable like how you could switch captains in Pikmin 2 to do different tasks Even Pikpik carrots are in the game.. It's really amazing..

It's truly overwhelming how much information has been coming out! It's funny because everyone was joking about how Pikmin content creators have all been covering the smallest little screenshot or piece of news they can find because of how content starved us Pikmin fans have been, but that's absolutely not the case anymore with the ports, the huge new trailer that just dropped, and the insane amount of details being revealed across various websites. The release of Pikmin 1 & 2 ports with enhnanced visuals is awesome. I can't tell you how many people I've heard say they're finally going to try out the series now that they can start it from the beginning and play all the games in order. The amount of Pikmin fans out there is about to grow a LOT. With Pikmin 1 & 2 coming to switch, Pikmin 3's logo being updated to match the new Pikmin logo, and 4 looking like it's going to have the most content of any Pikmin game, I feel like Nintendo is setting up for a new era of Pikmin and they might even be attempting to make it as mainstream as Mario or Zelda. Espiecially if they've got a new dev team specifically devoted to Pikmin, as people have been speculating

Thank you once again for being the heart and soul of the modern Pikmin community. I’m sure you put in countless hours into this community and means a lot to everyone. Keep it up man!

Something interesting is that you can only have 3 pikmin types out at once according to the website ( I do not know whether you can swap the types in the middle of the day). I am still hoping the final boss utilizes every Pikmin type; maybe you swap between 3 squads of 3 preset Pikmin type combinations to take out 3 different segments of the boss during the last cave.

It's good to see that this game series is finally having a renaissance this year. I personally have never played a Pikmin game, but I will be changing that. Keep the videos coming.🥰

Being limited to only 3 types at once is going to be interesting having to really plan out what you want to tackle in a day and having multiple landing spots to call your ship to in each area is cool it also means these areas r going to be huge

Absolutely love the fact that people now start posting their experiences of Pikmin 1 in the Pikmin subreddit, that they are getting to know this game that we fell in love with all those years ago. Nintendo has opened up the entire franchise to the millions of switch owners and I couldn't be happier being a long time Pikmin fan ~

They changed the pikmin 3 logo on the little titles you see on the switch its remade to fit the new style

Yo have yall seen that orange pellet posy on the website. Ik some ppl will say that its just a transition between yellow and red but we saw a pelet transition in the trailer between yellow and blue and there was no solid transition color. This might mean we might see an orange pikmin as i dont think the ss got a 1 in a 100000 perfect frame where its orange. The arrow also points to the orange pellet so vantage i hope u can give ur thoughts on this

I only played pikmin 3 and 100% it, I just got pikmin 1 and 2 for the first time and I already beat pikmin 1 two times one of my new favorite games

I was literally thinking this last night when I saw the new official Ice Pikmin and Oatchi plushies that you can pre-order in Japan. Nintendo is actually making a big effort in marketing Pikmin for the first time in at least the past decade. The shadow release of Pikmin 1+2 surprised me. Pikmin 4 is looking to be a great game. The best time for Pikmin fans is the next few months.

Since yesterday I’ve made so many posts trying to get people as hyped I am for Pikmin lol. I even made a post asking people to download Pikmin 1 + 2

Hey not sure if this is new info but ya think it’s weird the pikmin olimar looking guys dog has a leaf on his tail ? Cause the other dogs tail is a ball, it makes me think the green dog is actually a pikmin, to be specific the parasite pikmin that hijack bulborbs and made those little op ones in the old game

i dont keep up with nintendo much anymore nor do i play games as much anymore but ohhh my god am i excited to watch all my friends play pikmin 4 now, apparently i was the only one in my friend group whose actually played ANY of them so im having a blast watching all my friends play it for their first time blind. its surreal to see this franchise just explode again, i hope to see more people play ai no uta around

All of this just takes me back on so many aspects. I love how the artstyle quite literally looks like some pre-rendered artworks from the first two games, the overwhelming sense of wonder and exploration in these grand worlds is totally back, the new pikmin types, and in general the hype for a mainline entry. It's absolute bliss, really takes me back to when I discovered RU-vid and watched those Pikmin 3 ideas videos from 2008-10, the Pikmin in Spore trend, ymmot392, and all that stuff. Pikmin in general has been with me since, I believe, 2006. I'm still digesting the fact that 4 is real after the September Direct, feels like a constant switching between hype and disbelief, so weird to describe.

It’s so tempting to just soak up every theory and bit of news I can find about Pikmin 4 but I want to go in as blind as possible. So I’m having to resist the urge to look at everything. Currently, I am failing massively lol

I gasped at every other announcement, but SCREAMED WHEN I SAW PIKMIN 4! My partner came in running to see if i was okay, then i spent an hour and a half explaing everything about the game. She looked at me like i was a psychopath...😅

I love Pikmin since I was a kid and seeing all the types condensing into one title is so awesome. The only ones missing are bulbmin and puffmin, but I hope they are found in dungeons or night time. Other than that, I can't wait for Pikmin 4 to be released, it looks so awesome and fun.

This game literally has EVERYTHING from about every corner of everything Pikmin related! Species we haven’t seen since the first two games, hella new enemies and hazards and some neat changes to balance it out! These next few weeks can’t go fast enough!

as someone who resorted to spending way too much money to get some stuff so I could boot pikmin 1 back up again I’m hyped. With the pikmin 2 port I’ll have played them all! I’m hyped for pikmin 4 and i can’t wait for everything the game has to offer!

I remember learning about Pikmin From super smash bros brawl and decided to get Pikmin 2. I didn’t get to play Pikmin 3 until 2020 because I didn’t have a Wii U. I cant wait for Pikmin 4 and I’m definitely going to get it day 1 :,)

This is outside of the scope of this video but I wanna post it here anyway just because (SPOILER WARNING). so the Olimin means a few different possibilities for the lore. 1: this is the bad ending of Pikmin 1. I don’t agree with this one for reasons I’ll get to later 2: The translation of the Japanese on Olimar’s bio was (based on my memory, take with a grain of salt) “I giving up my vacation to haul luggage.” Many assumed that this was a mistranslation, but I believe beased on Bulby/notBulby showing up that it was meant to be interpretted as “I’m hauling my family’s luggage for vacation.” From there he crashes and gets turned into the Olimin without a new timeline because he didn’t have Bulby/notBulby with him in Pikmin 1. 3: My crackpot theory is that this is the bad dream Olimar had in Pikmin 1 that made him a little nervous of the pikmin until he successfully leaves the planet. I only think this because the stem of his pikmin leaf is red unlike his black stem in the original bad ending (not played the rerelease, if they changed it to red then disregard this comment).

ill be honest, as a huge fan of Pikmin who ranks the games 2 as the best with 3 as the worst, Before this direct I was convinced the series would flop and die. I had no hopes with the corporate "gotta include doggo" Oatchie thing, huge change to camera, seemingly at first only one main area to explore and only one new Pikmin type, i was not excited at all. After this direct tho... all my views have changed. I love the dog, I love the camera, and the new pikmin and areas are amazing. This game might be better than Pikmin 2 for me and I could not be any more excited to play it!
