Thank you for this great sequence. Enjoy it, although I found the 1st and 2nd exercises challenging. In fact, I had to skip the 2nd one because my back couldn't take it. It was painful even though I tried hard to engage my tummy muscles as much as possible. I wonder why that is? Maybe I am just not strong enough in the core 😶😐.

Hi Kristina, thank you for your msg. Apologies for the slow reply. If you are using the ball, tuck it really close to your pelvis so that when you roll back, you are more supported. Keep the movement very small and check you are curling your tailbone under, when you go back. Maybe use your hands to hold on to your legs, so that you can avoid any back pain. The aim is to feel your abs working, it may take a little time. Keep practicing and keep patient. If it keeps hurting your back, you can lie on your back and do small pelvic curls instead.

Really like this but find that I can't do the last rolling move (feet on the ball) because my back goes into a big arch and I can't sit up. What alternative would you suggest?

Sorry for the late response, Beth! Try putting a cushion or towel behind your lower back, so that it has some more support and something to roll into. It should help with the rolling down and up. 🙏😊🙏
