Pilot-RC Extra 330sc First Flight

This is the first flight of my Extra 330sc from Pilot RC. I kept the throttle setting the same though almost the entire flight as I didn't trust the engine very well. The engine died after landing. The linkage from the throttle servo to the carburettor was flimsy making the idle very unsteady. I installed a proper linkage and I also cut a hole just beneath the cowl for a better air intake. Setup:
Engine - DLE 60
Prop - Mejzlik 24x8
Ignition Battery - 2S 1900mAH Lipo
Power distribution - Powerbox Evolution
Batteries - 2S 2100 mAH Lipo X2
Servos - Savox SA-1256TG (all around)

Hi there. Quick question about the savox 1256 servos. A bit of an odd question do the servos make a chattering noise due to the weight of the aileron or elevator? I have a hangar 9 extra 300 carden edition with hitec 7955 servos all around and they make a chattering noise. The reason for why I was asking is because I plan on buying the same exact plane you have but the 35% version and was planning to put savox 1231sg servos on it and was hoping they will make that chattering noise. I seem to like that noise.

Hi, sorry for the late reply. Yeah I guess digital servos will always have a bit of a chattering noise. The savox 1231sg servos do have a lot more torque though, not sure how that will have an effect on the noise. Can't go wrong with anything from savox though. Have fun with your build!

Do you use the spakswitch from powerbox for the ignition?

Hello, I do not use the sparkswitch from powerbox. For ignition I use a DLE killswitch and the voltage is not regulated.

Hey Antoine i have a question someone gave me a edge 540 from a crash landing nitro gas plane and the piece of barsa wood snapped how do put it back together again? and the tail wheel came out and bent how do i fix that?And go sub to my channel the master of baskets please i will have rc videos soon. Hey thanks, epoxy glue can pretty much bond any two pieces of wood back together. It’s hard to tell you anything without having a picture of the damage. There’s not much I can do to help, maybe the best thing you can do is go to a hobby store with your model
