Hi there, thanks. I'm not sure when exactly this model was released by Pilot RC. The model in this video is around 7 years old now. The frame still looks good but I have stored the model very carefully. I've also fuel-proofed the firewall and I clean the covering with a cloth after every flying day. The covering is starting to show signs of old age though. I think the condition of the frame very much depends on how often the model was flown and how it was maintained. I hope this helps

+Matthew Ede Hello, the spinner was red when it came with the ARF. The spinner comes in different colours with different colour schemes. I did not receive any servo arms. Strange, because Pilot-RC had said that the model was delivered with them. I currently use Secraft arms. The model only comes with metal servo linkages (pushrods) and Fibreglass control horns. The firewall did not come fuel proof. I mixed some epoxy with rubbing alcohol and used that to fuel proof it. Yes, the fuel tank came pre-installed. All you have to do is install the fuel filler cap. Hey, the servos do fantastic overall. Interestingly, I am also concerned about my rudder, I have seemed to mount the tail wheel too far forwards. As a result, the rudder does not centre naturally and the servo always fights back this issue. The servo itself holds up fantastically though!

+KackNoob LP Hey, I do use the standard tank. I can also only get a max of about 8 min. Im thinking about buying a bigger tank too.

+Mark Smith Hello, yes the DLE 60 fits in the cowl just right. Tight fit though. I have around 5mm of clearance.

+milad keshavarz Hello, I wouldn't think the extra power would cause a problem. I wouldn't purchase the DA 60. I believe an airplane can only be overweight and never overpowered. Thats my opinion. Its up to your flying style. I regret not buying an EME 70 for this model. I believe my model can use more than a DLE 60. Besides, a twin will always run smoother than a single. I would go for the DA 70.

+milad keshavarz Also, I have seen some people use the DA 70 in the Krill 31% Extra 330SC. It flies great. I believe the Krill 31% Extra 330SC is still lighter than the Pilot-RC 30% Extra 330SC. The Krill Extra 330SC is completely made of composite materials. Maybe watching the Krill 31% Extra 330SC with a DA 70 will help your decision.

Hi, the biggest difference is the amount of vibration. The DLE 60 runs much smoother as each piston moves away or towards each other cancelling the vibrations. I would say the DLE 60 has less power though as two cylinders do have more resistance and two pistons have more mass. I'm not very sure, I've never owned a DLE 61.

Luke O Hey, the build quality is great. The covering is amazing too. The model also comes with a very good package. Just like most of Pilot-RC's models, the plane comes with a carbon spinner, landing gear and a carbon wing tube. The fuel tank also comes pre-installed. My only problem with this model is that the paint on the spinner can easily be chipped.

I have a 111 in a yak from Pilot_RC, its been used for IMAC 5 years and then i reset setup to 3D (3-4 years)total more than 300L fuel, and the frame is total bustet and everything is loose. But the 111 runs like a dream:). So ill bye a new frame for at christmas:).. with my kind of flying and fuel (aspen with 3% castrol) i shift my rings every 100L fuel. And i really like bowmann rings, and they are on the marked again ,with a new man,who bought the old bowmanns mashine, Keeps a higher compression for loonger time,, Aim high-fly low ;) best regards. Do it asap, they are so mutch easyere to handle, and with your tecnik its no problem at all. when you do, you will ask yourself, why didnt i do this a loong time ago ;) MaxDK

+milad keshavarz Hello, I believe a heavier engine will have no problem with this airplane. The DLE 60 is also slightly wider than the DA 70. The DLE 60 is 276mm from each end of the spark plugs while the DA 70 is 270mm according to the dimensions on the websites. This means it may be easier to fit the DA 70 inside the cowl. The DA 70 will cause no problem and you will have plenty of more power. Hope this helps. Have fun with your build!

+Kurzclip Hello, I did not need to add any weights with the DLE 60. I even had to put two batteries in front of the fuel tank for balancing. Even with the DLE 60 the plane was a little tail heavy without the batteries. Hope this helps with your build.

Hey there, no I did not have the same problem. That's very strange, I have had to add two batteries in front of the fuel tank for balancing, as I thought mine was tail heavy. Where have you fixed your batteries?

On the tray behind the fuel tank..I even have the rudder servo in the tail. Not the pull-pull setup. But I do have a 4 or 4-1/2” aluminum spinner on the front along with a Vess 24a prop.

​@@caseyjones6197 Hmm, I think this is a very unusual problem to have with this model. I would be careful. It's also nice to have someone else at your airfield check your CG before your first flight. I balanced my model by the wing tube for my first flight.
