Pimp C did NOT want to do big pimpin with jay z. Jay was friends with Big and pimp c was a huge Tupac fan and felt it would be very disrespectful. Bun b had to beg him to get on the track- he agreed but he only did 8 bars.
@@airforceone6523 You're wasting your time. Gaylen has serious mental problems and he leaves like 200 comments about Tupac per day with like 8 different RU-vid accounts. He's mad his biological mother cheated on his fake gangster dad with Tupac In 1995.
The majority of the south feels that way but it ain’t everybody. I’m from MS and always fw jay z and east coast rappers more than west coast rappers. It ain’t that I didn’t like the west but I just didn’t really know who was from where at first and I just so happened to like most of the east coast rappers. Now I fw both
Loyalty? Or bein a dick rider? Dick ridin the dead.. Pac claimed Oakland at some points of his career.. Pac knew real Pimps, if he met Pimp C he would’ve said “why u call urself Pimp but ur a junky?”
*100 Percent Real Fact Here* - there was a dude who wanted to kill Pimp C....but J. Prince is such a boss in Houston that you have to ASK PERMISSION FIRST. J Prince played it off. Had him come to the office, then told him Pimp C was his dog and he had 24 hours to leave the city. Because of that? J Prince told Pimp C that he was doing the song whether he wanted to or not. J felt it was too big of a look for Texas to turn down a Jay Z single with Timbaland. Pimp C stood down and did as the O.G. requested.
2PAC was seen as a soldier and straight ridah for Black People almost like a leader. 2pac was the voice of the have-nots. That's why his death was a major blow for our generation.
It's crazy how iconic this verse is. Pimp C didn't even want to do Big Pimpin'. He hated the beat and said that his pic of Tupac told him not to do it. Then he last-minute backed out from his flight to Trinidad for the video and made them do reshoots in Miami with his car.
Bruh! I want another stutter rap from spice! I feel like a kid again seeing one of my favorite rappers doing a lot of interviews lately. This right up my alley. I’m gonna have to do a video and posted it on RU-vid of every spice 1 album I got. Even ones I couldn’t find in store I ordered off Rap Bay I believe it was. Bruh! I am a spice berg fan to the fullest.
Pimp thought the beat was corny and he didn't even write his verse so he freestyled it. He told them He was going to drive to Florida and they had to wait for him to pull up with his mink coat and New Broad, Gloria Valez . He did it on purpose and the song became a hit. Bun B said it
He turned another song too that he was willing to do but neither jay or pimp wanted to travel But for the sake of pac …they run with this story because pac name was mentioned
I always thought pimp c might of met pac before but that shows the impact pac music had on dudes and big pimping turn out to be a big record when the video dropped in spring 2000
Real talk is dont give a damn how much I like or respect any rapper aint no rapper that I've never met slowing down .my money..that's borderline stupidity
More additional facts: Pimp C only did 8 bars on B-P.. when back then, a verse usually go for 16. Bun verse was nearly 24 bars because had to make up for Pimp's half bc of him not wanting to do the song to begin with. Cool Fact: When Pimp brought his house in Atlanta, he had a big picture of Pac hanging up in his studio, and according to Bun B ... Whenever Pimp was face a difficult decision regarding the music industry, he would look at the Pac picture and ask what would Pac do? 🤯
@@jalenaverylloydaveryiisson8862 u love pac urself hence why u got time to go on every pac video and speak on his name like he said niggas might hate me but deep down ikno they feel me !!!
Pimp was a real one. Wore a mink in the Summer for the video. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 OAN: how do you dislike someone you don’t know or never met and think that’s a good thing. Sounds kind of like hate.
Never heard of this reason. They said, well Bun B said and I think Pimp C actually said the rap song was to pop like rap song. Jay-Z that camel didn't know anything though,he had no power at that time. Don't blame the whole East coast. It was NY! They shot that man, they set him up for a bogus rape charge and then those rappers attacked Tupac for no reason at all. They eventually got that man killed. Baltimore loves Tupac!
@@APrinceofThePower i said NY. LL Cool J,Prodigy,Foxy Brown,Keith Murray had a song called I Shot Ya remix. Mobb Deep took shots at him. Nas took shots at him. Those rappers were main players in NY rap scene. They also took shots at Tupac. I don't ever remember Tupac doing that to them until they did that to him.
Pac got Pac got killed. Him and his homies beat the shit out of a known killer and gangbanger in public just hours before his death. What else is to be expected
@@larrystilltheeman39 C'mon bro. That's a handful of rappers. What about Wu-Tang, Boot Camp & Eric B., just to name a few? Nas & Pac squashed it out before he died, this is according to Suge and various reputable souces. Mad heads had love for Pac in N.Y. Lumpin the whole city in wit a bunch of haters is out of order.
"We ain't gonna know who the best rapper in the world is, cuz he getting hated on right now!"...... REALEST SHYT I DONE HEARD IN A WHILE!! And straight facts!! 👊🏾👊🏾
These dudes had all that smoke for the east coast but besides Mob Piru who else was beefing with South Side Crip over Pac getting killed? A lot of people supposedly knew it was South Side that did it.
Not 1 of em that's why these interviews are hilarious. These dudes ain't shoot not 1 crip over these 2pac beefs but hated the whole new york city, a city of 8 million people, because of the actions of a few individuals. Keep exposing themselves, the cats in the bay said spice 1 is not gangster at all and hearing him flip smoothe criminal like that I believe them. Straight entertainer that's it
Lotta the MOB Piru crew got kilt in a gang war between crips and bloods, both lost members but the south side won cuz they crippled death rows success and money by killing pac and suge went to jail
You should do a little more research because after Pac was shot in Vegas it was a blood bath in LA. From LAPD’s mouth it was so many shootings between the bloods & the crips in the 2 weeks following his death they had to start doing raids of gang members houses. That’s why Suge never cooperated with the police because they was letting the streets handle it. FACTS!!!
@@Hi_Im_Tree we're talking about the rappers who keep speaking out though, pay attention. Bloods and crips shoot would be shooting at each other anyway regardless of 2pac or not
So basically this platform is to throw everybody that 2pac was beefing with under the bus , im starting to think AOD would fck 2pac if he was still alive 😂
It's a platform for pac!! I would do the same thing!! Nothing wrong with that. Since you feel so passionate about it why don't you create an anti 2pac platform!! Now STFU!!
Menace to Society soundtrack is one of the best soundtracks of all time, Trigger Gots no Heart Is one of my favorite Spice 1 records of all time and Pocket Full of Stones really put UGK on the map. Spice 1's first 4 albums all went either gold or platinum, he was a force in hip hop and 187 He Wrote is one of the best hip hop albums of all time, and definitely is a top five album of all time from the Bay
EXACTLY J COLE STOPPING LABELS FROM SIGNING ME BECAUSE HE KNOW I USED TO HELP HIM WITH HIS LYRICS WHEN HE STAYED WITH MY BROTHER AS A ROOMMATE IN NYC WHEN J COLE WAS ONLY DOING BEATS I EVEN HAD IT PUT IN ARTICLES AND HE GOT THE ARTICLES TOOKEN DOWN AND THANK GOD I GOT THE SCREENSHOTS JUST DONT KNOW HOW TO GET IT OUT
Bun said awhile back that Pimp C didn't want to do the record because he thought it wouldn't sit well with the hard-core fans and it was a commercial record.
No the fuck he don’t, he sound dumb af every single interview. Starts talking about hate when discussing his label mates even the interviewer had no idea wtf he was sayin he had to ask who’s hating? Lmao
The dude is a lame and a liar. Because what he said about Pimp not wanting to do the song because Pac “didn’t like” JayZ is literally not true at all. Bun B has talked about it himself
@@whatwhat9004 PIMP was a 2PAC finatic..he would stare at his 2pac poster and basically try to channel him and his thoughts about certain things. Has Bun talked about that as well. Bun was likely keeping safe and political about it. Pimp practically idolized Pac.
Everyone Needs That Pimp C Loyalty.. Never Met ‘Pac in Person but was Loyal to Him Even After Death. SMOKE SUM BIITTCHH!!! Haha #LegendsNeverDie #PacandPimp
The animosity wuz Primarily Coming from The EastCoast(NYC).. IT All Started With (FUCC COMPTON) a Song Written & Perform By a Rapper Name "TIM DOG" That's From N.Y.C
New York was the originators of hip hop but also the agressors who started the animosity against the west coast, this way before Pac was on the scene. New York felt their radio stations weren’t showing their own artists enough love and were showing more love to west coast artists. Check out a artist named Tim Dog - Fuck Compton, this where the east coast animosity for the west coast started 💯
@@worldwidereaver why y'all like to tell y'all version of history like y'all was there? Your version sounds like you're young. When someone wants a logical, non-biased argument. I'll talk
@@RoyalAlkebulan I don't need to hear anything more then if bun b said who is this man to say summin else all these persons do is cap and try to make pac seem perfect
I wanna go back in time and slap my younger self for not appreciating this man when my moms old bf used to play him. I didn't understand until I hit my mid 20's
He never got that answer nd still wind up on Big Pimping. Like who the hell is Pimp C to be told who shot pac to have him on a song. Its not that serious.
I like when Spice 1 get interviewed, it's like the older homie who did MUCH DIRT an his stories are always funny about how & what happen,, while he twistin an pausing rollin that blunt for a good 20 minutes before someone realized how long it actually is taking him then everyone start arguing ......an the blunt still don't get finished until someone snatches it from him 🤣😩
