Pink Floyd were absolute masters of the live performance. They are meticulous musicians who want their fans to feel like they got their money’s worth at a Pink Floyd concert.

I always love it when a new reactor is impressed by the light show during the first guitar solo! They usually don't realize that by the end of the second guitar solo it's going to look a lot like the aliens landing in close encounters of the third kind at the end of that movie!!! A simple term for how Pink Floyd makes you feel and makes most people feel is that they are hypnotic! Their music puts you in a trance and you feel like you're floating is I believe a description of how most people feel! You know one last thing bobbing your head back and forth is cool I guess and if you like keeping time with the music but if you look into the audience during a Pink Floyd concert NOBODY IS MOVING! The entire audience is usually transfixed on the light show the music and sits still in amazement just watching!

I wasn't at Earl's Court but I saw them on this Pulse tour. It was one of the greatest things I've ever experienced. I love seeing people discover Pink Floyd and what incredible musicians they were, as well as what insanely wonderful shows they put on. No one can make a guitar sing like David Gilmour. You don't listen to Pink Floyd, you experience them. 😀

I feel the reason David's guitar is so good beyond the obvious is he restrains himself from muddying the water with too many notes. I have heard him playing fast but there is not a flood of unnecessary notes. They are clear and smooth. This solo is actually the edited short version. I have seen the longer version on YT and it is just as amazing. Loved your reaction. Have to subscribe! Look forward to more Pink Floyd and other videos!

30 years ago today, I was at the Pulse Concert in Houston Texas. The rain going through the lasers and the lightning on the down beats. Unfortunately the rain shorted out the stage and we didn’t get to see this song this night. But I had 13 more chances through the summer on 1994.

I was fortunate enough to catch this tour live... I really enjoyed watching you listening to this... It is so reaffirming to know that this song from the 80's still hits hard in 2024... I'd love to see you do a reaction video listening to the whole Pink Floyd, Dark Side Of The Moon album... Fortunately, the entirety of the Pulse concert is on RU-vid as one video and the second half of the concert is The Dark Side Of The Moon followed by the encore songs from the tour... It is an experience I'd really enjoy watching... You really appreciate what you are listening to and it is very refreshing... Subscribed!

First rule: You never take your eyes off of the show. Pink Floyd is as much a visual show as a musical one. Every Time you close your eyes or look away you defeat the purpose. Especially with the Pulse concert. You want to close your eyes, look away react to the studio recordings. Most people who watch Pink Floyd reaction videos want to the see the reaction of the Reactor when the lights hit. When the reality that the lights are moving with the music. When the lights are magnifying the emotions they are feeling. Basically you wasted 10 min of our time and your own.

100% agree with you. I think in many cases, the reviewer doesn't have a monitor in front of them so is not watching the video of the performance at the time of recording. I'm not sure if that is the case here, but with some other reviewers it's very obvious that they are not watching a screen probably because there is no screen in the room at the time. One can see that their head and eyes are moving around everywhere and it's clear that they are not focussed on any monitor.

Something special going on here, Damn right Here comes the Floyd gasm, 😅close your eyes and let it flow through you. It took 54 semi trailers to leapfrog the 3 stage sets around the world. 2 Boeing jumbo cargo jets and an antanov military heavy lift freight aircraft shifting the greatest tonnage ever for a touring band

The PULSE concert is a LEGENDARY performance. EVERY SONG is an incredible version. It ended up being Floyd’s last tour, the most expensive tour in history to that point, and one of the greatest concert performances ever recorded. The stage took 3 days to set up, two more to break it all down again, and 50+ trucks to haul it around. 180 feet wide, a 120-foot tall arch, and a brain-melting light show. The show was actually better than the video can display (PF put speakers around the perimeter of the venue, so sound could come at you from anywhere.) Do yourself a favor; when time permits, watch the whole 2+ hour concert. It’s worth it.

Next: „High hopes“ and „Keep Talking“ of the same concert! The pulse concert was a „once in a lifetime“ event. People who were lucky enough to see them live will still tell their grandchildren about it. It was an all senses experience, and they did not save money on anything. The computerized Lightshow was the first of its kind (because before that computers simply weren‘t powerful enough!) And it was so ahead of its time that it puts you in awe even 30 years later!

"Easter" from the concet at Royal Albert Hall. Won't regret IT, they are all master class musicians and together since 1989 with this lineup... with 20(!) Studio Albums. Wonderful music, musicians and human beings.
