"Everyone will work for me." *He means jobs!* "I'll teach them a lesson." *He's for better education!* "Surrender quietly and no one will be hurt." *No one will be sick! Healthcare!*
yeah pretty much the only time the democrats and republicans in congress agree on something, it’s something to fuck us over or give handouts to the rich lol
@@timesnewlogan2032 The Congress probably agrees on nearly everything in private, but in public, they pretend to hate each other. Do these congressmen actually have to make love to each other after a public hearing?
@dskmb3 Alright. How much have you saved on your taxes this last year? I had to pay 2 thousand more than the year before due to limits on itemized deductions and mortgage rates. Means I can’t replace my old boiler or can’t get my broken back door replaced.
The problem is that if they did that conservatives in this country would go wild criticizing that the liberal media is trying to destroy them and all that sort of stuff...
I think brain's problem is that he overestimates the intelligence of others and over complicates his plans. I mean, no one seems to even recognize that he's a mouse. He's not even hiding his intentions. He could easily accomplish his goal if he took a different approach.
8:00 the most absurd thing Pinky & The Brain ever put on screen was a bipartisan commission that actually went after someone for their wrong-doing, convicted them, and swiftly punished them in a meaningful way.
@@giantsr1eva No it's a Pun. Pierce Brosnan was one of the actors who played James bond. Pinky clearly misunderstood his name for the verb pierce. You might be able to interpret it as a weird sex joke but honestly anything can be a sex joke if your mind is in the gutter.
when a kids cartoon is a wittier and smartier political satire than most tv hosts and "adult cartoons" "look! nancy pelosi is smoking crack? ain't that funny?" (family guy gag) or "ahah i called trump drumpf lmao he's orange and bolding LMAO"
Man when we watch these as kids we just laughed but as adults we can look back and we can understand what they was doing. These was cartoons back in the day.
I never realized how political this show was. It all went over my head when I watched it as a kid omg.The whole "Al Gore is full of hot air" but is priceless, considering climate change and all, ha.
My youngest brother (by 12 years) started to refer to myself (I'm the eldest 'smart one') and our middle one as 'Pinky and the Brain" years ago, so we asked him - "what that?". After watching the first few episodes, boy did we laugh! Roadrunner was fun. Bugs v. Daffy was fun. Duck Dodgers was hilarious. Sesame Street sketches were aimed at kids but targeted at adults (they're STILL fun). Pinky and the Brain were/are the best. Point being - rewatch the original episodes, because should it be 'rebooted', it'll be a fun-free, joke-free, joy-free disaster, as it 'might offend someone, somewhere'. Are you pondering what I'm pondering?
Today we watched An Inconvenient Sequel for my Environmental Science class, and I can confirm that what these mice say is true. Al Gore is in fact full of hot air.
That "Al Gore the Donkey" scene currently sickens me. No, it's not due to how close it follows the real Gore, but due to how the CHINESE president banned Winnie the Pooh from all of China!
You do realize that Obama DOUBLED the national debt right? Please tell me you're not THAT ignorant. $10 trillion to $20 trillion under Obama. You're aware of that, right?
And I thought Animaniacs did a lot of jokes about certain political figures it feels like this show leaned hard into the very idea of making lots of jokes about different political parties not that thiers anything wrong with that but I just noticed it seems to be a bit more apparent in this show
Honestly, the message behind Brain's campaign kinda still rings true. It's pretty amazing how misconstrued a candidate's policies can be and how it starts to snowball into a giant game of Chinese whispers.
3:44 "test tubes, meters, gauges, and a Jacob's Ladder were spread around the room. Torn rag dolls were clamped together to keep from losing more stuffing. Pinklet and Brainie were among the text group. Christopher had plans to perform great scientific experimentation on the toy animals, right in the middle of the acme woods" they really got away with putting the words "Jacob's Ladder" in the middle of the screen like that...
