Maybe a tutorial on how you set up your library with Studio 21. Moving to 21 from 19 was worth it and makes me smile when I remember starting win Studio 5. I have wanted to produce 3D Titles for my videos for a very long time. Adobe After Effects CC ??? $50.00 per month. But I can't remember the sequence of the hundreds of buttons I must push to make it so. Adobe Photoshop ??? Again $50.00 per month and your in....But there is some issues with movement. You must create 100's of jpg or png files and then string them all together. Nope way to hard for an old grandpa like me. So after trying several more SaaS as well as downloadables I finally find Pinnacle 21 Ultimate. WOW!!! What a blessing.. The program is fantastic...the training...fantastic....the extras...can't find any in terms of 3D Titling...they are all in the program right from the start. Just over a hundred bucks, 4 or 5 hours of training, and all of a sudden I am a pro. Thanks goes out to Corel, StudioBacklot, and Maliek Whittaker.
This is so cool. Has endless possibilities. I like the way that once you add the first keyframe you don't have to manually keep entering them. I have not tried 3D text yet and am hoping I don't have any problems with the program. Thank you so much for your tutorial.

Thanks for the tutorial. We need more tutorials on Pinnacle Studio 21 Ultimate. Need ones on Graffiti, Heroglyph, and Smartsounds for Studio 21 64-bit. And, we need more on basics of Studio 21.
They've really added some power to the Studio with this effect. I don't believe it was available in 19.5 and would really have to find the creative juices to incorporate something like that into my projects. Regardless, thank you for giving us the intro to the effect and the background in how to make it work.
It was not a part of PS19, which is two years old now. That does not make your PS19 any less capable for editing. I've done many videos using PS19. But, I have to say, PS21 is great. Still some teething pains with the new interface (can't save settings), 3D Title (can't save title and/or motion settings), etc... I am sure Pinnacle will address these issues in future patches/updates...... I hope.....
The new 3D Title Editor is the only reason I bought Studio 21U. I had Studio 20U and there really isn't any other thing that's new or I will use in Studio 21. But, I will use Studio 21 instead of 20... for this new Title Editor. I haven't installed Studio 21 yet, but will tomorrow. Then, I have 15 movies to make, backlogged.
I love your tutorials. I've learned a lot from you. What I would like to learn is how you created your title? The one with the spinning globe and how your name appears from the left to the right and then disappears back from right to left.

I have pondered this question. I am thinking that making intros and exits in this way, render them with sound and use them from the rendered version due to all the effects built in that you want to use and you can split the sound if you want to replace audio. Making a template as step 2. Do you think that would work? Making a junk video with intro and exit and the middle as filler for the template. Even if you do not use the template you can still use the intros and exits in any new video with re-infenting the wheel.
Is it possible to 'shade' behind the text so it can be read easier during the video clip? I could do this using an earlier version of Pinnacle, but I can't see how to do it using 21+
When I click to add the effect, then it shows that the 3D Title Editor is Open and that I should close it. The effect gets added to the timeline but it shows red with an "!" Then when I wait a while. Then the 3D Title Editor opens but it does not show any wording in the display... Any help please?
Hey Maliek. I am about to start playing around with designing rooms on computer, 3D. Is there a way to upload a 3D design from something like Punch Home and Landscape, onto Studio? Or, is there another easier way for me to create a realistic room in 3D using Studio? The plan is to add actors to it later who are shot in a green room.
Can anyone help me with a text problem I am having? I am typing in a list of steps in a title and it looks great in the video. However, when I export weird spaces are entered and the text looks horrible. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thank you.
I've had Studio 21 for about a week and am enjoying these videos. When I drop a title onto my timeline, the colors become green and the image has poor resolution. Example - I added standard title 46 to my timeline, then when viewing in the source and timeline preview screens, the color is all green and white vs the gold color. If I can figure this out, then I'll move onto trying to edit using the tips provided above. Thanks all for any tips.

Hi. On my computer (Win 8.1) with gforce 550 Ti video card, 3D tittle editor does not work properly. When I select the video clip to add the title the application does not open and sometimes it locks the whole program. I've tried several configurations but it did not work. One help please. I wait. Thanks for good videos that caused me to love Pinnacle Studio. Question: Are there any smart possibilities to edit text properties in many titles at the same time? If I have many titles and I want to change text font to antother font, how can this be done in a smart way?
Hi Maliek. thank you for your great tutorials. I have been using Pinnacle Studio 9, 12, 14, 17 and I recently downloaded Studio 21. While every thing else seem to be working fine, the 3D titles are not visible neither in preview nor on timeline when clicked on and get "Open viewer failure. Failure: Can not open the player, Reason: Received null iTitler." message in preview window. Also, there is no T3D icon on the tool bar. What is wrong? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I didn't see you have a tutorial on that yet and I'm wondering what that is …. its sounds like it might be cool - I was wanting to animate some angels I had on one music video but couldn't..... wondering your take on it, might purchase, I need to color match, I was going to start using adobe premier because their green screen on after effects was so much better, but I'm so used to pinnacle and its so much easier than premier so I'm looking into upgrading in Pinnacle YET AGAIN! AHHHHH if they have 3D animation like animate a tree, etc I'd be in....
Maliek: As always I appreciate all your videos. I am wondering what happened to the Title called Roll Up? When I go into Motions then Emphasis I have Crawl Left, Crawl Right and Roll Down, but Roll Up is not there. What happened and is it possible to get it back? Thanks for all you do.
Try resetting the program and see if it adds it back. Might be an issue with the titler. Also, a new patch was released to upgrade to Pinnacle Studio 21.1. The download page states that the patch "improves application stability and performance, and addresses several important issues". Not sure what those "issues" are but maybe it will address your issue. Keep in mind, if you install this patch *you will lose the Color Match feature*. Once the Color Match feature is fixed a patch should be released to add it back. Hi Malik I just got studio 24 ultimate and each time I open it up it hangs. Even the transitions or the project I’m working on. Do I need to delete studio 22 first. I tried all the things you advised but nothing seems to work.
Well I Have Pinnacle Studio 20 Ultimate and I do see the 3D. But you cant do what your doing unless you have PS21. Plus it now looks like all your videos are now PS21. Not unless during your videos you can also say you can or cannot use this on PS20. Love the tutorial wish I could use it in PS20U
Yes, as usual when the new version comes out that is the version that I make tutorials for. I have people asking me to make tutorials for all versions of the software from 14 to 21. Unfortunately I do not have the bandwidth to make tutorials for multiple versions of the software. I only have the ability to do one version at a time. Anything more might be grounds for divorce and I'm not going there. 😃 I wish I was able to recollect which tools are in every version of the software. I hope that the person wanting to create the effect would be familiar enough with their version of the program or would search for the tools in their version of the software to see if the tools are available or not. I do not work for Pinnacle so unfortunately I do not have a list of all the tools that each version does or doesn't have and I do not have a beautiful mind that can remember all of them either. If I bring up what is or isn't in 20, then the people who have 19, 18, 17, etc. will expect me to do the same for them. The best thing to do is for me to not mention it and let the individuals determine if their software has the tools or not. 😃
I can understand you with all that. Ill just make due with what I have for now. I've learn a ton of stuff from you on PS20U and it all works just fine. Plus divorce is not good wouldn't want that to happen. I know I've been divorce twice so I'm staying single. lol Thank you for your time and hard work.
I am a total newbie. When I click on the "T" to try to make a title a small box opens in the bottom right hand corner and says: "Default title wasn't found in the installed content, Title editor can't be opened". How can I remedy this?
You can extend the length of any title and make it last as long as you want by changing the duration like I did in the video, or placing your cursor over the end of the clip, holding down your right mouse button and dragging the clip to make it extend as far as you want.
Hi Maliek, I bought this through your link and have installed it. I have seen your other video on 21 Ultimate and trying to use it but like on here, when I click on Title on the left, a window opens but all it shows is TITLES and FAVOURITES but no contents? this is the same for FX, TRANSITIONS, SOUNDSTAGE etc. do you have any help on where the stuff us? When I downloaded it, I ran the install and everything went to the same folder I think? Cheers and keep them coming.

Studio 21 ultimate. Since the last update you cannot save your 3d titles, the save button is grayed out. Fail. This remark has been posted for more than a week. Does anyone from pinncale check the customers remarks? I paid for this in Studio 21 and it's not working!!
Hi Maliek, Love your videos. I am also having a problem with the 3D Title Editor. I don't have the 3DTitle option under the Text Tab on the left or on the ToolBar. I've tried resetting PinnacleStudio 21 but it does'ent help. Can you help. Thanks.
Check out the attached thread on the forum. A user had the same issue as you. He uninstalled the 3D Titler, reinstalled the 3D titler, refreshed the library and it worked (see the last post). This program can't change a 2D logo to a 3D logo. You would need a compositor like Adobe After Effects or Element 3D. There might be other programs that can do it as well but you'd have to search online for something that will work and fit in your price range.
