It's not a spoiler to tell how an Allagan can be an Ascian, since Pint completed Eden too. Reincarnation is a real thing in this world, and you can reincarnate as any race or nationality. The big three just awaken their "original" memories when they decide to recruit them. That's what Fandaniel is talking about, he felt that his past memories are not really him.
This was explained in ShB, so it should be fine to say here. When the world was Sundered, Emet, Lahabrea, and Elidibus were the only ones who made it through unsudered. Every other ancient, the world and all other creatures were sundered. The unsudered used the soul crystals of the other convocation members to restore the memories and position to the sundered members. Whenever one of the the sundered was defeated, they could just find another part of their soul across the reflections and do it again.
Wasnt Solus a soldier who Emet stole the body of and then quickly rose through the ranks and manipulated his way to becoming emperor of the new nation of garlemald? i feel like i remember people like emet and urianger talking about that.
her voice is adorableeeee, love how that one npc gushes about her and then she is actually awesome haha remember that surprise quite vividly from my playthrough
Short explanation on the Allagan to Ascian thing, it's Info from an earlier Addon and of course Spoilers. The three Unsundered Ascians could pick shards of the remaining 10 that were sundered from one of the Worlds and grant them the Knowledge (and usually personality) of the original member of the Conclave. Only the three Unsundered could do that though they never elaborated why only these three. The result is a weaker incarnation of that Conclave member. That's how they kept their numbers up despite some of them biting it over the Millenia. One dies, just grab another shard from another world and raise them up again. Another note on the Allagans. They were Emet's creation and pretty much what the Garlean Empire was in the current time. The Ascians secret beating stick and tool to fascilate their plans.
I'm honestly guessing its just because the Convocation all spent hundreds of years together, and thus could pinpoint friends/colleagues souls? Like residual reincarnation/soul memory definitely exists in this world/has been reference before so going off that knowledge
@@bellamango6708 I think there is more to that. If it was just that Mitron would have far more success in awakening Loghrif since he knew her best but he struggled and ultimately failed. Though he definitely had some moments at least.
S**t we're really stuck in Pint's 0/3 fish timeline huh, hope it doesn't become a problem for him later :) Nidhana is one of the better new NPCs introduced in Endwalker. So full of optimism - something which is super useful in this expansion. I was worried that she was gonna end up being Tesleen 2.0 when she got stuck inside the Tower of Zot.
As a rare 3/3 fish seller on day 1, I just wanted to say it was harder in December 2021, but congrats on your (it was harder in December 2021) clear of this quest.
Basically, everyone who is alive now used to be one of the "Ascians" (if ascians is the word you want to use to describe all those people from Emet's time) who used to roam the world before it was sundered. If there's 13 reflections, everyone on every reflection is 1/13 ascian, which is why the rejoining is such a big deal. if they rejoin all the shards, everyone will become 13/13 full ascian again. We rejoined with one of our shards in Ardbert. Amon wasn't just any ascian though, he was one of the 14 convocation members (just like 5.3 Shadowbringers told us we are too). the 3 big ascians have the power to restore the memories of those who were in the convocation through the use of those crystals, since it's just the title being passed down over and over again.
1:14:21 Oh my god the color of the elephant and the character's tail were the same color and at first it looked like the elephant was probing with its trunk.
Technically, the wider organization that is the Scions of the Seventh Dawn has members of most ARR races/genders. They're just not part of your posse. I don't recall there being any Au'ra, Hrothgar or Viera though.
Those three would either be some secret characters we never heard about or new members. Just as long as they don't die in a couple patches after their introduction.
