I sold the FLX 4 and repurchased the DDJ-SB3, no comparison, the best controller hands down with the most comfortable and comprehensive layout.

I have the 400 but I must say the flx 4 definitely looks worth it. I might have to update later on this year forsure. Thank you for the review!

I got the DDJ 400. Thanks for the video! I like the look of it more, it's kind of 2010ish. I also don't need the extra features on the FLX4. I have also read that the build quality seem to be a bit better on the old ones but not sure.

Love some of those features. Gutted I use serato. Although it is only entry level, you could easily use this on a night working. Great Video as always.

Just bagged a flx4 a few weeks back after my tank-like denon mc4000 gave up the ghost after 8 years. First impressions out the box was what is this cheap kids toy! The build quality seems well below my denon which cost a similar amount. However, since having a good play around with it I love it, combined with algoriddim DJ pro. Not sure about longevity but for an entry level controller it’s brilliant. Fader is nice and smooth, jog wheels feel great for mixing and scratching. Love the effects and the cross fader effect is a nice bonus.

Can someone please explain what it means to either use rekordbox or dj serato? Like does the hardware you buy determine the software? And is the FLX4 compatible with both, but the ddj400 only with rekordbox? Is it like a one time use serial number you get with the hardware? How does this software work if you buy the hardware second hand? Hope someone here is able to help😃

I hate that the flx4 has a usb-c on the back. I just know that it will become loose and disconnect after a while
