A nice little receiver....good you fixed it so it can still be used safely. Pioneer built quality back in the day. I have an SX-780, that is restored and I love it.
Good timing. I'm working on one now. Cord not cut and no shorts but dealing with biasing and random static issues in the main amp board. Probably transistors. So strange yours works perfectly yet someone cut the wires inside and out.
@@steved1129 the pots are good. Looks like one of the thermistors/diode strings failed taking out the main outputs and someone put a string of 3 diodes under the main board for a fixed bias with the new outputs, and unfortunately zero bias.
