But if you could play some pipe band music to him, and some songs that he knew in the past- perhaps songs that he associated with your mother, it can have a very positive effect, and stimulate memories that seem lost. My mother, at 92, and with dementia, knew every one of twenty three Christmas Carols, when they were played to her.
@@MandyJMaddison I visited him on Friday and he asked if my mum was still working, she died 22 years ago. His home has went into lock down for the next 2/3 weeks

The Brits March ,,while the Irish WALK up the Avenue at about 80-85 steps per minute,,like the Band a 1::23 on this video,,and with the Irish bands I have drummed in,,we never arrive tired,,haha
It's a shame....but most of these pipe bands are made up of old men, women and children....where's the Scottish men in their prime, celebrating their heritage and history.....oh I forgot....there all down the pub, watching sky sports football!
