Smoking/Grilling burgers on the Pit Boss Pellet Grill. Fast 1 hour cook time for fast, great tasting burgers. Used the Therm Pro dual probe meat thermometer with Wi-Fi. Worked great for remote checking of meat temperatures.
Time goes by quickly so an hour will fly by and then you have a bunch of tasty burgers. This looks awesome. We have a Pitboss 850 on order so I'm binge watching pit boss videos. Thank You for sharing. I subscribed.
Pete always gets his...lol. I enjoy cooking them slow...just chilling by the pit. But you are right...sometimes you just aint got time for a slow cook!
I wanna get one of these but I can’t see spending an hr to cook a burger. I like a screaming 450-500 degree grill and a fast 2 mins on each side to seat and 3 minutes of indirect heat to finish off the burger to a medium-medium well
You can cook burgers like that if you want... open the searing grate and use direct heat/flame. I choose to cook mine a lil slower....Good Luck...enjoy your burgers!
You can cook fast or slow, your choice, but if you are not in a hurry, low and slow adds a nice smoke flavour . On these types of grills, the lower the temp , the more smoke you get, and the longer cook just allows all this extra smoke to really penetrate and add great flavour to your burgers
@@Hebchabsbc you dont have to cook them that slow on the pit boss. but 30 mins at 200 will give them a great smokey flavor. you can set it to high and grill them like normal
Seems long but kinda cool .lol. i cook mine for an hour in the smoker before i add cheese to melt on em. ,heck. I can relax ,drink a beer and prepare other stuff for my burgers while they smoke. Lol. It tastes better to me,its not overcooked, and beats rushing around to have the buns toasted hot and fresh and dressing them while grilling a burger. Lol. Oh. Did i meantion i can drink beer while they cook? Hahaaaa
My wife has made me bugers for 40yrs now never checked internal temp.i bought a pit boss lexington and probes now im stabbing everthing i cook bahahaha
