Pizza Hut is one of the most popular restaurant chains in China. No I really mean it, it's wildly popular with a location in almost every shopping mall. But Pizza Hut in China is not the same menu as in the US. The Chinese Pizza Hut menu is much larger and much different than Pizza Hut in the west. Pizza Hut was once made into a much more luxurious restaurant in China, in fact several China pizza hut fine dining restaurants still exist to this day. But Pizza Hut today, while transitioning to a more approachable fast casual restaurant in China. Pizza Hut China and Genshin Impact have a partnership, so locations often feature Genshin Impact characters and have a more fun cartoonish vibe. Pizza Hut in China still maintains many upscale food items though. These include beef wellington, steak, tiramisu, chocolate lava cake, and much more. As for the pizza itself? You can expect pizza hut China to have Mongolian barbecue and wagyu beef as toppings.
It's always a lot of fun to try familiar brands in other countries to see what may be similar and what may be much different. While the food at Pizza Hut in Beijing may look fancy though, looks can often be deceiving and it may not taste as good as it looks. We will find out in this China food vlog if Pizza Hut in China is legit and one of the best local eats in Beijing, or if PIzza Hut is overrated, cheap fast food, and not one of the best cheap eats in China.
