Quite a few years ago I went to see them in Birmingham (UK) at a small club. It was such a great night everyone ended up forgetting about all the big hits you'd normally be waiting for, then this intro started and the whole place erupted. An absolutely brilliant live band.

@milesprunier. My friend you have done an excellent job here! You brought back great memories for me. When I was an NYU college student in the 80s I would go to this club at the time called The Ritz in the East Village of New York. This club was groundbreaking in that it featured these huge video screens. So in the early 80s when New Wave/Alternative music was getting recognition the video screens would have a montage sequences similar to what you put together here. Thank You.

When I wouldn't be hanging out on my street back then, I would be on the next street were my best friends lived at. We grew up there & so did many others who hung out till late night just partying. That street was names Claire Avenue in Reseda, CA. We called ourselves the CLAIRE STREET LOCOS one night in 2007 & stuck too it ever since hahaha! All of us moved away or grew apart, which really sucks. But those were Great times. This song is now one of my MOST favorites EVER!!! Thanks B-52's!!!!!! BEWARE..ENTER PLANET CLAIRE IF YOU DARE!!! This is excellent work!!! I came across a funny picture via google recently. There is the typical 1950's robot-from-space. It is holding a scantilly clothed guy! In the background, there is the typical hot 1950's babe in a bikini with her hands on her hips, obviously very annoyed that the robot preferred a human guy over her! Very funny.
