I haven't viewed the online video, so I cannot speak to the quality of that piece of the set. However, everything else is perfect for what I was looking for. The bands are durable, and the resistance strength varies enough between bands that they're each useful for different exercises and provide a great challenge as you gradually increase the resistance level for certain exercises. The only band I don't use very often is the lowest resistance band, but even that is nice for exercises that target weaker/seldom used muscle groups.
I love this machine, really worked on my ab area. I truly believe it's better for those on the shorter side like myself. My friend who's taller had a harder time seeing results. The only problem is they don't have it at every Planet fitness. Can someone tell me what this machine is called. I've been looking to buy one for my home gym
Aztec Girl if you look on the machine, it shows in the example the person with their knees bent. I always keep my knees bent too. I would think keeping your knees straight would put a strain on your lower back. I personally don't think you're doing it wrong.
What I've been doing on a similar machine is doing it slowly and trying my best to concentrate on using the abs to do the action and not depend as much on using my arms to push forward. Not sure if I'm seeing results yet since I'm pretty new at this machine and I've still got a pot belly to lose.
Is it ok for your shoulders to sort of round forward and lock in place while doing this exercise? Like my shoulder blades are far apart and my shoulders are curved in towards where I grip the handles
Wow...what a great video considering when I joined Planet Fitness none of the staff whom I asked for help knew how to use the machines. So I went over to the free weights but half of the dumbbells were missing the second dumbbell.
