I would have gone with Maynard James Plankton. Because Plankton is ashamed of the name Sheldon and that draws a clever parallel to the real Maynard who apparently wasn't fond of being one third Herbert.

I think I've noticed that Plankton's A.I. voice is really great for Rock and Metal vocals. I don't know why, but Tool sounds so natural coming out of Plankton's mouth. He definitely has that "anger" in his voice to make those vocals punch.
Definitely best AI singer out of all the AI I've heard out there, he has that perfect angry and raspy voice for Rock, Metal and some soulful songs and some jazz as well. I've heard the Fortunate Son cover by Plankton and I honestly couldn't tell the difference between the original and the AI cover!
Honestly I think Plankton is my favourite artist of 2023. You can really hear the effort he puts into his voice, it's amazing. I just wish more artists were like him in this day and age. Everything he makes is fantastic. I hope he gets more popular, he really deserves it. 🙏
Thank you. I did zero correction on the audio tracks or anything. I really just said it as a blanket response to any potential issues people may find. There's an even better method out now that I used in my most recent cover. It doesn't do as well in screams, but it's very easy to use both methods and merge them in editing.
I honestly hope so. AI can only mimick what it's been given, but a human doing a cover can add so many subtle tones to their voice to make impact it further.

Cause you heard the original too many times that its lost its magic. Listening to it again with a different voice imitates the magic you felt, that's why covers are popular.
This is incredible for something that was made out of boredom. I really like how the vocals fit the mood of the song without wavering all over the place like a lot of the other AI covers. Would love to hear a Lateralus Plankton cover with this same level of quality (there's currently only one that's been uploaded but Plankton's voice in that one is all over the place).
Here in this moment I feel like technology is moving at scary leaps. You would have only been able to dream about something like this when the original song came out.
