Loving the content man! Living vicariously through you as I’ve wanted an LX or maybe even a GX for a year now but watched prices skyrocket in the meantime. Question for you regarding the beefier tires and spacers, looks great but any rubbing issues? Does spare fit in the back in same size? Thirdly, a lot of people love the GX just as much, would be really cool to see more videos of them side by side to get a better idea of size/height etc differences. Perhaps even some mild flex or off-roading in a ditch hill etc. Loving the videos!!

Yeah I’ve got plans to eventually do a side by side of the GX and the LX. As far as the tires go, every once in a while i’ll get a slight rub (like nothing to even worry about) at full lock going over bumps. I only got the 4 tires in that size but i doubt the spare would fit in the factory compartment area. Worst case, strap the tire in the trunk or in a basket up top (for cheaper alternatives).

truck looks great, all the stuff im exactly going to do to mine! . i was going to get the stockies powder coated black but i guess you brought up a good point. plastidip cheaper.. and put that 500$ towards those rims u got for it lol..

Exactly. And plastidip is super easy to repair should you ever scratch them up compared to powder coating them.

Liked the video a lot. How did you get the overspray off the tires?

Any overspray on the tires, i usually leave. It will come off over a short time because the tires are flexible so after driving on them and going through a few car washes and it'll eventually come off. Overspray on hard surfaces can be quickly wiped off with some rubbing alcohol or brake clean but just be careful not to use too much and damage any painted surfaces.

Oh I’ve had it last years on previous cars, the only downside, they tend to fade a little overtime

I ended up switch over to aftermarket wheels shortly after this vid. But ive had plasti dip on wheels for years before. They tend to fade over time but not too bad.
