If those girls remember nothing else from their softball careers, they'll remember this. And,as the announcer said, it sets a great example for younger players. Go, Florida Southern!
That's how it is when you play softball you are raised with excellent people who encourage you that even though they are your rivals they are people that also need to be treated with respect if you play you know how that is ❤️❤️
Abbie Burr agreed softball is not only a game. I have played since t ball and this is my senior year of high school. We are going to state for our schools first time in 47 years. I love every single girl on my team and each and every one of my coaches!
Our high school trainer was like that. Every time an opposing player went down, he ran out there to help. He'd been doing it for 40 years. His worst fear was seeing someone go down with a serious injury.
That was awesome what those ladies did. Kind of sucks that they actually didn't have to do it because of the rule changes but they didn't know that. What great sportsmanship.
I played high school softball ball I hit a homerun. I was running to first base and as I was as running my left foot slide out from under me. I tore my acliestented really bad. I could walk. Two of the two of the from the other team help me get to the bases. Had my whole team and their whole team crying and they didn’t have to do that. But they did do it. Now the two girls are my best friends
At one if my JV soccer games a girl on my team hurt her leg to the paint that she couldn't walk and the other team carried her off and game her a blanket to sit on and ice. And again with softball the other teams catcher hurt her hand (sprained her wrist i think) trying to get someone out, the girls on my team ruched to help her and get an ice pack and bandage ready
*You always gotta help one another even if you hate or dont like them that just show you are a kind person like the girls they are opponets of that other team yet they help her because of the kind hearts they have "always help one another be kind"*
