@@user-bb2op9he1x Well that sucks... The game like I thought sounds pretty alright just misunderstood and Anthony definitely was being too hard on it. Now I am still happy that I am going to add it to my GameCube collection later. I feel bad for Big Sky Interactive though that they only got to make these two games before they had to fill for bankruptcy😞

@@soraandkairi1194 I don't know, man. Having watched the video that was linked it sounds like, while not quite as bad as people say, it's still not good. It may have a redeeming quality or two, but is heavily outweighed by the myriad of shortcomings. So no, it's not really "misunderstood". Antdude was saved honestly. If he wasn't forced to stop where he did, then he'd be even harsher on it, and for good reason. Who the hell thought that collecting so many damn jellyfish was a good idea. The story behind Big Sky going under was fucked, I have to say. Though that doesn't make the game any better. It's nice to know that they seemed to care about the game they were making, at least a little, but catching those jellyfish still won't be fun in the slightest. The little charm that it seems to have is it's only real appeal to me. Basically, Antdude seemed on point. You need a high level of tolerance for that kind of thing to really enjoy it, which varies between person. Just that given how many games, or well anything else, you can do rather than play a game with far more cons than pros... Not to say it's wrong to like it, just that it makes perfect sense why few would. Look at the Zelda CD-i games, for example. I actually found people in the wild who genuinely enjoy the first two games (at least seemingly). And while the remasters, that some saint made just recently, actually gives them some modicum of enjoyment, it takes a certain type of person to like the originals [unironically]. Not a bad person, I need to clarify, but very particular tastes that most wouldn't agree with, again, for good reason. And sorry for typing so much, but that's just how it be, I guess.

@@lethauntic Hey Man, thanks so much for explaining these things. Cause it all makes a lot of sense and I do understand now where most people come from. We all have different tastes and certainly there are things we can each enjoy for a longer period of time than others. Also no I don’t believe this game would be that good but I do think it would be better than the Jimmy Neutron game that came out before it which isn’t that good. Thanks for a long reply I enjoyed reading it👍🏻 Oh yeah I haven’t obviously played any of the Zelda CDI-Games but they definitely don’t sound good at all besides having unique designs for the worlds and characters and very entertaining cheesy dialogue which probably wasn’t intended. Hotel Mario sounds way better but still not amazing.

FUCK THIS EPISODE! this episode is when the Antdude torture porn started to become a regular stable in Spongebob's episodes and this one is one of the meanest, cruelest, and just plain unfair of them all. All Antdude wanted to do is enjoy one day to himself. but that can NEVER HAPPEN when he lives next to Spongebob and Patrick. can it.

I love Atlantis Squarepantis, but the tank levels are actually my least favorite of the bunch. My favorite was always the top-down teamwork levels.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who loves that game. I played it so much back on the gamecube and absolutely loved it. Probably one of my fav and most played titles on that console when I was a kid. Honestly might have even started my love for metroidvanias.
