The problem is that people overuse these jokes too much, if people just calmed down and stopped bombarding every comment section with only these types of jokes they would be funnier for years longer instead of die out within months, I think the root cause of this problem is that because of the way social media works with short form content we need much more dopamine to enjoy things which means we quickly need to switch between memes. All social media cares about is more and more profit from people being addicted to short form things, so these companies should he held accountable and should change their platforms to be better for people and that would eliminate this issue and many others like social media addiction which causes a whole nother set of problems.
