I thought mass shielded lotherns are an obvious pick for HE because of sleds/dervishes but mostly because kislevs infantry have bows and pistols. Seems like Lotherns just counter everything Kislev have anyway exept for an oddball tzar guard build.
Request; LOT OF ARTILLARY :D :D i feel its rare to see arti and one it is, its like 1-2 'lonely' pieces. it would be awesome to see a real artillary line of 2 mortors, 2 cannon and 1+ something boom ;)
Are we ever going to see a faction wars land battle tournament again? Still my favorite format by far. Not to mention I'm really curious to see how chaos dwarfs will handle land battles. My comps to much of a potatoe to handle this game sadly so I vicariously play through these videos.
"and next time I play a faction that has chance of winning, I promise". As a Kislev fan it's so heartbreaking. Probably need another year for faction to be viable. Because you know, balance! And definitely nothing can be done before the DLC. After all, you can’t change the stats and cost and reset these changes with the release of the DLC, it’s too difficult! To be honest they did some, but to little. I mean Bretonnia was already better, but got much more then Kislev from the patch.
was watching the video and you asked about shows: if you didnt see it try Lilyhammer, its an American / Italian / Scandinavian Mafia show. Some actors from Sapranos also play in it, one of them even in the lead role. Had a really good time with it
Did Gordo outrun a horse? Would it be fair to say you still have somewhat of a Land battle mindset? I feel like you focus a lot more on good trades than point control? (I am a complete noob, so no critique here, just an observation)
I’m something of a domination noob myself, but from what I’m seeing and understanding you still need to value trade and fight it out with your opponent, and that generally will be taking priority over claiming points for much of the game. Lots of maps like Battle for Itza and Road to Vaul’s Anvil have two points beside each other in a very open space, so it’s almost like the points are just incidentally there while the two armies slug it out. If you rush for points and forsake value too early, your army would get torn up and whittled down, then the opponent would be able to take almost complete map control for free and rack up points while you wait to either get a decent force up for an alpha strike or attempt to scrap and claw your way back like a cornered Skaven. But if you ignore the points for too long and focus on trading exclusively without pressing a map control advantage, you might not have enough time to secure enough points to win, and you’d get a loss from objectives. Some armies can do one more than the other, but it’s a balance everyone has to find. (Also sorry about the wall of text lol)
2:20:41 i think just having the warbears out and if you see such a built bring out the big bear as well as first, if not bring the mortor instead ^^ also mortors are bears, if they can't dmg with attack they can attack in amidst the infantry ^^ also use the mobility, there is not many reason to let them get an engagement; you unsummon cannons if need be but think you can just run them to each side they move fast enough and could force splitup you can jump on. but you would properly have won if you had unsummon cheesed the mortors then summoned the bears before they reached you, as you would have if you knew how much this crunched kislev :P
Good to know that a generic Chorfs caster lord will completely demolish Grimgor in melee. I wasn't sure Chorfs are a strong faction yet. Also good to see they nerfed Skaven down to just a 70%+ winrate. I guess those line-of-sight changes weren't the play.
correct. the caster on Bale Taurus costs 3k with the kit I used. Grimgore should've cost about 1.8k or 2k if an item was taken. Bale Tauruses are basically good star dragons... for 400 less cost because reasons
What about a mirror match tournament? Everyone in the tournament votes for a faction and the winner is the faction everyone plays as. Appreciate the videos Turinament.
@@OiMitch i just enjoy turins casting i could qatch both, though dom just makes it so that people actually have to attack, where as in dom you can just sot in the bacj with some artilery. So yeah i agree dom is more entertaining.
