So that's what New Zealand looks like....you have a beautiful country Joey, and well done on the rails and tenons. I can't wait to see the finished product. This is awesome.
Great series. When trying to get glue into a small crack, a rubber sanction cup pressed over the crack will force the glue down. Its a guitar repair trick
jrexw I am not entirely sure about the psychics behind it but I subscribe to a number of guitar repair channels and they all use a suction cup to force glue into tight cracks on instruments
Bit of a burning sensation on the thumbs with scraper at around 8:38? Nice finish though. It's good seeing your progress as well as some of the work involved. Cheers, David
Joey, How is the front rail going to work? I have always done a lenghways cut to get a top and bottom 'rail' then cut the middle into 1/4,1/2,/14 as you did and then glues the top and botton rails back onto the 1/4 1/4 parts so that there is a hole 1/2 which that cleaned up drawer front fits into. Great hand work brings back the muscle memory although that Ryoba had a mind of it's own, I can hear my old man shouting from beyond the grave "should have used a tenon saw with a spine on it not these new fangled things!" Regards from this side of the ditch where more and more nutters are pushing their luck.
Hi ya, yes that is the normal way to go about things. I wanted to try something different and have a plan at least so fingers crossed it works out. Cheers
Wow great work there Joey !!! Wish i could have my health back so i could work with my hends . Any way we’re not here to weep 😉 loveing your series so good to see !😜👍🏼🌈🇨🇦
My understanding of it is unless you are an essential service, everybody is locked down in their homes. They want as few people as possible moving around. One delegated person is permitted to go shopping. We are also allowed to go out for exercise. Hope this helps. Cheers, David.
