I have had mine for a few months now and had no problems with it. But I can't help but feel I will in the future. I have had 3 PS2's in my time and each one would eventually stop reading PS1 games and DVD's. Very tough time indeed. So if my PS3 ever stops reading discs I really wouldn't be surprised.
I own both the 360 elite and PS3 slim. I like them both a lot. I'm not a 'fanboy' or intend to start any 'fanboy wars' because I strongly believe that both systems have a lot to bring to the table.
@Rpcooldude I know it's a "little late" now, but you can force-eject discs out by holding down the eject button until the disc comes out, you can do the same with the power button. If the system freezes and won't shut down, you can hold the button until it shuts down.
one good thing about Sony playstation is they've never changed the controller, X-Box and Nintendo have everytime, just makes it easier and you always have a spare controller rather than leaving an old controller in a box with the old console!
I already have one that I bought with my money too, and it's great! But unfortunatlely mine, like his, broke, but instead of swapping it out and losing all of my data and stuff, I shipped it off to Sony and they fixed it for free. It took a little longer, but I got my system back, not a replacement.
Go to system info and look at your GB. Based on the amount of data you have, see if you can come up with some kind of aproximation of some sort to determine your systems module.
Dude I've had my 360 since march of 2007 and it hasn't died yet. Personally i love my 360 and i love my PS3 both are great systems in my opinion (BTW I have an elite).
Yep, I love the option to upgrade the hard drive. I was wondering for a while if I should upgrade my HDD, thinking there is a good chance I might screw it up. Well, I just upgrade my hard drive today from the 60 Gig launch model to a Fujitsu 250 Gig SATA 2.5" 5400 RPM hard drive and it works amazingly well, no problem what so ever. Very easy to upgrade and if anyone of you guys want to know how, you can reply to this comment and I'll take my time to write a thorough upgrade instruction.
the 40 GB was actually being phased out when you made this video toolbox..... the 80 GB was the only one still being manufactured outside the 40GB MGS 4 special edition
I have all 3 consoles. Because I have the Wii, I won't get Move (even though it's better) but I will get Kinect cause it's really cool. Anyway as an Xbox and PS3 owner, I think they're both awesome. Each has unique qualities that the other console doesn't have.
I agree with you 100%. Unfortunately people will always be immature, and make comments such as, "Xbox sucks ass" or, "Ps3 sucks ass". If feel that way about a console and feel the need to say it, they must provide a decent explanation. Now THAT is the mature ways to handle things.
you shouldnt watch too many blu ray moveis, its not just the ps3's problem, its like every console, ps2,xbox360,ps3 all have a laser to read the disc, but if u use the dvd too much its not good. so just play the games
Don't you do it's really sad that your watching a video that you don't care for but you clicked to watch it and it said, "UNBOXING THE PLAYSTATION". What did you think it would be about?
be careful, the 80GB one dosent have any sort of decent BC with PS2 games. they all play PS1 but for the Price diference you can get a 40GB and upgrade the harddrive with a laptop drive
I never said the Wii or XBox were bad just some people prefer not to have to buy or use certain controllers for certain games, like with Xbox 360 on X-Box games you can only use the old X-Box controller as the button is only on the X-Box one, same with Wii, never said anything was wrong with them, to be honest I think Nintendo make the best of the lot seen as I prefer interaction in games rather than the graphics!
Once you buy the $400 system you must of course purchased a few games perhaps some blu ray movies and by the end of it all the total damage is like $600...want another controller - that's an extra $50. You end up spending a grip of money, but jesus christ is it a great experience! Worth it if you have the dough.
I never got the pleasure of unboxing my ps3 :( i gave my cousin the money for it, he bought it, unboxed it, and put in at least 2 hours on it before i came home from school :( my ps3 was no virgin when i got to play it :(
actually i know someone who is on the developing team for sony and he says that they are already talking about the ps4.... he says that they havent even gone to the drawing boards or anything, just that there is talk about the ps4.... probably wont even come out for another 5 to 8 years lol
i got the collector chrome edition with 180 giggabytes and 100 playstation dollars and the chrome dualshock controller and 3 year waranty probably the best thing ill ever buy
ps3 for blu-ray player is a good deal but you know the laser reader in the ps3 is meant really for games not alot of dvds and blu-ray movies. its okay to watch movies on your ps3 but not alot becuase your ps3 won't handle it. just buy a normal blu-ray player or elese every few months your gonna need a new ps3
It only got a record because the name is gta, its the most popular name. most of the people buy it for its name. If u compare it to san andreas, then san andreas is better for all thing u can do when u arent doing a mission.
Uuuum, there's like a thousand unboxing videos from different users scattered around RU-vid. Just look them up. Just informing you that it's not that unusual dude...
I've never seen an unboxing of the ps3. This is my first one. I'm behind the times. It looks pretty nice. I don't have one probably won't get one because I'm poor. I'll stick to the ps2 I guess. LoL =)
@Tevoxzi The stuff is things you have to buy seporite that come in side the PS3 for free like, rechargeable battery, wireless adapter for internet, paying to unlock and play online, and numerous stupid shit.
