The problem isn't that they can't create a ps2 or even a ps3 emu. its the fact they can't release so many games due to licensing issues. This is the same issue Xbox has with backwards compatibility.

It's about the best device for PS5 remote play, just by having a dualsense attached to it. That said, I love my Logitech G Cloud, it's an awesome device that streams my Ps5 pretty well.

They are doing fine, everyone's freaking out because "no games have been announced for this or next year!" Like if the ps5 pro and a portable are coming they are 1,000,000% saving games for those showcases. That's just what they do, Nintendo's lineup is looking bleak for this year too but everyone knows their next console is coming soon. It just makes the most hype to save up and have a blowout of announcements, and they need massive hypre if they know the other 2 teams are about to make a move, there is a rumored Xbox portable coming as well.

I pre ordered the PlayStation Portal and was stoked to get it and thought I would use it all the time. But sadly I don't hardly ever use it maybe 4 hours total. I play on the PS5 when I'm home so I have been thinking of getting rid of it so someone can get some use out of it. What do you think keep it or sell it.

Idk how I feel about the handheld. It would be cool to have those games portably but if it doesn’t have exclusive games then I’d just get a Steamdeck or Switch 2. At the same time, I kinda don’t want it to have its own library because I wouldn’t want the first party studios having to develop exclusives for multiple platforms

It would make far more sense for Sony to be working on a portable SKU for PS6 using Zena and Radeon. AMD does refer to each generation of Zen and Radeon as new architectures. When coding to the metal even that could require some work to make games work. Especially when RAM, RAM speed and storage speed differs. Especvially since portable devices use a different (but similar) type of flash storage than SSDs).

He just needs to put his operating system on a handheld like Rog Ally, put a bigger battery and a 720p OLED display. The device should have 1080p output in docked mode and that's it!

I think if they make a new handheld it has got to be a PS5 portable, it's got a large list of games out already give it a 2230 M.2 SSD a single USB-C for charging that utilises a dock mode to provide HDMI and ethernet whilst charging Be able to connect extra controllers and other peripheral in a shape of the PlayStation portal but a bit thicker for PS5 motherboard and extra battery capacity I would pay £100 more then the regular PS5 to get one

The PS PORTAL is great. The screen is beautiful, runs excellent. I added a silicone grip and "portal" silicone stick grips. It makes using it a lot easier after long a gaming session Regular ps5 controller stick buttons are bigger. FYI. The only complaint I have is, it will not play media apps.

for PS to release a new PSP would be amazing. the PSP Go and PS Vita were great handheld consoles especially convenient when using Remote Play. I can only hope it's true that Sony would have mastered PS2 emulators for more game library,include easier and more storage built-in instead of those horrible Sony memory cards . Include PS3 remakes available via PS5 and remote play. There's so much backlog of Sony that it's hard to get access to after PS4 due to limitations. Bring the new PSP3
