Great video. I just finished Rise of the Ronin, and he is a hidden character in it. You can also get the Ryu Hayabusa ancestor armor, and choose his ancient ancestor as a fighting comrade for your party. Don't listen to the reviews- it's a really good game....if you love all the ninja Gaiden games and team ninja stuff, or Japanese and ninja type games overall, you'll love it. If you tweak the graphics from the visuals menu, you can get it to look damn close to Ghost of Tsushima, no lie.

SNES ninja gaiden II is the reason why I'm a fan of Scorpion from MK and just the ninja theme in general. Ryu's my favorite of all time

Biggest mistake of the franchise was becoming an Xbox exclusive instead of a Playstation/Xbox game in the 2000's. If Ryu Hayabusa has a loyal following today, with Playstation he could have become as popular as Solid Snake.

Ryu Hayabusa is the most badass and legendary character of all time and he truly is the Best Ninja in video game history cuz no matter what game he is on he will always end up being the most overpowered character to the point where devs have to unutilize his dragon sword and even without his dragon sword he still ends up being the most overpowered character.

I'm playing rise of the ronin now, and I just ran into Ryu Hayabusa in 1859 Japan as a timing "romantic" ronin. I am guessing it's supposed to be out Ryu's ancestor. Pretty great Easter egg.

some of your entries to certain games are incorrect. Nnija Gaiden Sigma 1, 2 and 3 were only ever on PS3 not an "Xbox Reboot" like you put into your video for them. Sigma games were only available on Xbox once Master Collection released

@@TekkenHayabusanah u actually got it right, it was only the first remake they released on ps2, but the rest were originally made for Xbox and then cross platformed to Playstation 3, but that was only in a matter of days, it's easy to get confused. If u look on team ninjas social media pages, their accoiated with Xbox

Team Ninja the original publishers of the newer Ninja Gaiden series, are associated with Xbox, it's Koei tecmo who publishes the game on Playstation, it's kinda easy to get confused with it the two, I probably did it get wrong, I was just sticking to what their more accustomed to, if I ever make another I'll probably put it under "Team Ninja Reboot" js to be safe

That is not Ryu Hayabusa. The Hayabusas u see in there are Jin and Ren Hayabusa, Ryu and Jo Hayabusas ancestors

@@TekkenHayabusa It's just a name change. They don't even have a bio. They have the same look, weapons and athleticism and strenght. And i suspect Hayabusa clan will be back in Rise of the Ronin since one of the bonus for pre-ordering is the hayabusa-ryu style for Katana.

@@Hinshu85 Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo literally confirms Nioh takes place in the events prior to the Ninja Gaiden and dead or alive timeline, thousands of years before Ryu hayabusa would even be born. Their not the same character, yes they have similar looks and they carry The Dragon Sword, to show they are part of the Dragon lineage but this video is just focusing on Ryu Hayabusa who's in the current era

I ONLY play as Hayabusa. Hell, I'm such a fanboy that I'm actively making a mod that replaces DOA6 English voice actor with my own to match Hideyuki Hori/Troy Baker's vocals. (I've got a good vocal range)
