BROOOO!!! YOU HAVE THE DUAL ANALOG CONTROLLER!!! I'd bought one the night street fighter EX plus Alpha came out! We needed a 2nd controller to fight 2p and that's the only one they had! Was years before dual shock came out! Ur the only person I've EVER SEEN to have one and kno about it other than my brother and cuzzo that were there when we went to trade a buncha stuff in to get SF ex! My bro is still obsessed with SF2 so he had to get ut that night when it came out. SF ex is an amazing game and the 1st one is the best SF game next to Alpha 3! So glad I discovered this channel like 3 daze ago! Bravo man! You Rock!🤘🎸🤘🎸🤘 Will def turn my bro and friends on to the channel!

Norm has phenomenal content, but it's pretty infrequent. I like your stuff....I learn something on many eps. Inching towards a complete NES set myself....slowly....otherwise breaking the budget.

Dang, never heard of that last one, would be curious to see a demo of it in action if you ever have occasion to take it out for a spin.

I used to have the original controller and I still keep it to do moves in Mortal Combat Trilogy faster than with the new mushy dual stick one. It gives me blisters. I got the ASCIIWare arcade stick too. It is a bit like the NES advantage but probably lesser in quality. If you play shooters or fighters then you might want this one. Why are new arcade sticks so much damn money? The dual-stick along with the Sony PS1 classics caused me to buy the system a second time after I had sold my original for the N64. I got a ton of classics for cheap and the graphics were about the same. Bigger games(CD) and better sound brought me back to what I had considered an extinct console.

I have the grey arcade stick shaped like a ps1 made by asciware I love it and I've been playing shooter on it for cuple years. But I also just found the namco arcade stick (made for tekken) cuple days ago. I only played a few hours with it and I like it way better than the asci.

Didnt have a memory card for almost a year when id gotten my PS! They were actually in short supply at the time and were more expensive! Was soooo odd but hey! Got my PS the Xmas n64 came out so shortages in products were not rare! Lmado

Hey John, great video, but I have a question: I've heard that some PS1 light guns won't work on the PS2. But I thought that the PS2 was/is 100% backwards compatible with PS1 accessories. I'd love to get the PS1 mouse; I watched a video where the guy was playing Starblade Alpha with it, and it looks like THE way to play that game.

I got the PlayStation One color coded PS2 Controller I got lucky and found it with a PS1, unfortunately I couldn't get the PS1 but I at least managed to grab the PS2 controller

I have the non-feedback analog controller and it's great! Those concave analog thumbsticks are so much nicer than the Dualshock's ;) not to mention that unlike the Dualshock, there's a flightstick mode for games like Descent and Cyberia (press the analog button again for a green light)

Too bad you don't have the Namco arcade stick, even people like me that are super picky about arcade sticks love that thing, it's really really good.

That Game Booster is one of the strangest accessories I have ever seen. From what I've heard, its not 100% compatible, and there's no sound on any games. Still neat though.

I disagree that the Dual Shock is the one you want, if you find a Dual Analogue for cheap that is a better choice.

Always really wanted that ASCII fighting pad thing. I just think it looks cool.

I recommend the standard controller for 2D games, because the dpad on the dual analog and dual shock controllers was terribly stiff, and basically unusable.

ive had this same controller for years. the dark transparent ps2 controller is a great. i use it everytime ps1&2 get turned to play. and i have a adaptor to use it on ps3. i wore out a few ps3 controllers using the analog sticks. but this one still works perfect. never any issue. i havent tried it on ps4 yet. but i will eventually to see what happens. but anytime ps1-3 get used. im on this. its awesome. www.fullyretro.com/images/items/99039978-item-main-PS2-CONTD2BA-A-1.jpg
