Zak Peterson thanks, but the the lines are as short as they can be coming from the frame to the axle, due to the amount of suspension travel. The stainless lines are the calipers are not much longer than the originals, I should add that the stainless lines seem to do a better job than the original (shorter) rubber lines. I have a friend that is running a very similar setup on a Chevrolet with ford one tons, and his stainless lines feeding the front are 4 feet long apiece! And his braking performance is better than mine. I have pretty much come to the conclusion that the problem is in the caliper itself, I think caliper piston backs off more than it should which causes a longer pedal.

You thought about a new byass controller? Wilwood has got a pretty good one ... maybe your proportion valve has got dirt in it
